All right, seeing as my other topic flopped, I thought of making a better one, lol.

We all have our favourite games, but what about favourite boss music?
Even if it was in a game that isn't one of your faves, it could still be on the top list of best boss music?
All right, I have quite a few, but I'll start with one (should probably limit one per post?) and a little
explanation as to why you like it so much. Let's begin.

Spoiler:

I'll be honest and say this was my fave game in 1994 onwards, but to this day the boss music compliments the actions happening quite well, and works well with an already amazing soundtrack.

I....find it hard to think of something better than this....
Spoiler:

And here are some others I like:
Spoiler:
Can't wait to see what the actual boss will be like

Spoiler:
Eh, I just love how well this ties in with the actual lengthy and non-simple boss fights.

Spoiler:
While it's not as epic as Culex, it's still pretty awesome, and it's great to listen to

Maybe some others too, but I can't think of them right now.

I'd have to say these three are my most Favorite out of all the Games I've played.

Spoiler:

This has gotten into my head and implanted itself onto my brain for hours on end before. Definitely my 3rd Favorite.

Spoiler:

This is probably my 2nd Favorite boss theme. Why? It's just such an Ear Worm. That, and Jeane puts up one hell of a fight. With her bare hands. Against your Sword. Yeah.

Finally...

Spoiler:

Dear god this is one of my most favorite songs in any game I have played. I Honestly wish there was a 10 HOUR loop of it. It's just that awesome. *eargasm*

Spoiler:

This song is in two parts as the title suggests. The first part is all latin chanting. While the 2nd part is kinda like the first game's final boss theme with a rock song with vocals. Only this time the vocals have a lot more to do with the game, as it's the back story of the antagonist.

Spoiler:

I don't have much to say about this song, it's just a great boss theme. For an annoying villain. The only other thing I feel I should mention is that one part of the melody sounds similar to "Assault of the Silver Dragons" from Final Fantasy IX.

And now for my Top 3 (In no real order) favorite Megaman Boss themes (All Wily related!)
Spoiler:

Pirate machines are the best machines.

Like most other Megaman 6 songs, this has a more serious tone to it then most boss themes. But then again, (for some reason) this is the time where Wily has gone too far! Maybe it has to do with the fact that he doesn't give you the eyebrows outside the castle.

I don't think I could tell you why I love this song so much. Just something about it screams "Awesome"

I'll add more when I feel like it.

I would have to say my favorite is the boss music from Skies of Arcadia.
Spoiler:

I not only like the composition of the theme, but also how the song changes depending on the status of your party during the battle. For example, as you start out a battle, and are on "even grounds" against the boss, the music from 0:00 to 1:26 plays. When your party is nearing defeat, the music from 1:27 to 2:00 plays. The remaining part of the song is played when your opponent is nearly defeated. And it's not just a random cut-in to another theme when the status changes. The little 2-6 second parts are played to transition from one song to the other smoothly.

Spoiler:

I'm so tempted to say this is my favorite game ever.

Not only being my childhood, it had everything the previous and later installments were lacking: Story.
I mean, Battle Network 6 is good. Play it if you can.
It's not better than Battle Network 3. It's common knowledge.

Battle Network 3 not only sounded and looked great, it felt great.
You felt like you were saving the world from a real danger. In Battle Network 2, it was airplane hijacks.
In Battle Network 3, it was exploding, man-eating bubbles.
You can't get more dangerous than that.

Over anything, the bosses themselves added to the danger!
There were so many bosses that I would had tore my hair out instead of fighting them a second time.
BeastMan, BubbleMan, DesertMan, KingMan, FlamMan, even DrillMan posed threats.
To feel so helpless the first time you fight them, and then to wreck their shit the second time you fight them - in which they're much stronger than they were the first time - is so mind blowing.

And there aren't retarded OHKOs in this game. I'm looking at you, ShadowMan and MagnetMan.

Please do yourself a favor and play this game. You will not regret it.
