In this link is a couple changes I have made to a couple of things. I will just go through what I did.

Gemini Laser
Pros:
It's multi hit like its game counterpart
It's hitbox is bigger cause of the above, letting every beam hit
Damage is slightly less
Bounce factor slightly changed to make it try to stay a more constant speed (still not perfect)

Cons:
Wily Barrels make them fly all over (silly collision is silly)
Due to the more accurate hit box, avoiding these in a doorway is extremely hard.

Empty Hands for weapon holding weapons (like shadow blade and hyper bomb)
Pros:
If you have no ammo, it makes sense that you don't hold a bomb in your hand or else why not toss it?

Cons:
Just a decorative non game changing thing that takes up space (probably less if I just made patches rather than images but still more effort into something not that important)

Item 1:
Pros:
Made Item 1 not able to trap people inside them

Cons:
Removes a function that people have been used to for a while which in turn makes Item 1 even less usable
A person mentioned that the method I used online wouldn't work properly but I have never actually tested it out

That's all I have done in the file.

I love the empty hands visual update but not the Item-1 change. Half of why you even use it is to get people stuck...

I haven't really messed with the new Gemini Laser enough to have a real opinion on that either.

I'd be all for the Item 1 tweak as I think trapping is stupid and makes no physical sense, which is why I try avoiding putting it in my maps as much as possible (yes, even moreso than Eddie and Rush Jet)

Were any of the weapons designed around Item-1 traps? No

Was Item-1 designed to be used as a trap, as well as a platform? I'm gonna guess it wasn't

Was Item-1 placed in maps for its trapping capacities or for its platforming capacities? Clearly, it was for players to reach certain spots that a normal jump can't take you to.

It's not a feature, it's a bug, and must be treated as such.

Because so many weapons were totally designed around items and not around the weapons they were based on.

Yeah, I imagine the Item-1 tweak would be for the best in the long-run, but it would take a while for everyone to adjust to it. I really hope the Empty Hands gets approved, but not quite sure about the new Gemini Laser.

The Gemini Laser modification sounds like something that would be in that Legacy Weapons mode, where each weaponwas modified to work exactly like its game counterpart.
