I followed a tutorial someone put up and downloaded doomseeker and I'm always seeing at least 6 megagame.wad servers up, even if they are empty often.

And...what's this people are talking about in some posts "IP range ban" ..how would i check "just in case" if i might be caught in it somehow ?? I seriously hope not though, i haven't played in nearly a half year.. and just now wanted to come back cause i really miss getting to play mm 8bitdm with everyone. :(


My post didn't help because it was designed to help for in April when EVERYONE had the same problem at the same time. Check the date next time, and I'm sorry it was unable to help.

Wait, what?

I still use the old one and see servers.
Are you using zandronum or skulltag for the new one?

is anyone else no able to find and servers on doomseeker, cause i cant get anything to show up, and apparently skulltag's forums arent availible.....is it just me?

New master server address for Doomseeker (Options>Configure>Engines>Skulltag): master.zandronum.com:15300

On your skulltag-*username* cfg file, change:

skulltag_masterip=master.skulltag.net

to

skulltag_masterip=master.zandronum.com

These settings should show you those servers that are using ZDN's (ZDN = short for Zandronum) master server on both Skulltag's internal server browser and in Doomseeker.

If you still don't see servers, then change those two things back to master.skulltag.net

If you still can't see servers on both settings, then they're either down, they aren't hosting using either master servers, or your internet is acting up.

Head's up, I've switched my servers over to the Zandronum master server.
