Ha ha nice, but shame you were toast in the end. Was that sound effects from Blood 2?

I should make something impressive. A few times I made a giant bridge connecting two mountainous houses, and I did want to make a roller coaster but I would need A LOT of iron ore. I'll see if I make something and post it on here.

Well, I just tried classic and I don't think I'm going to get the full version because it runs like crap unless I turn the render distance to tiny. It doesn't make sense because I can run a few more graphically intensive games much better.

It comes with a downloadable executable version which might run better, but it still uses java. A problem with your installation of java perhaps? Try giving it a reinstall (uninstall it first via add/remove programs)

Minecraft is a great game, especially if you are self motivated. Once you find a bunch of obsidian and diamonds and start wrecking ghasts in hell it becomes a "once in a while" kind of game. Not like MM8BDM!

I got into Minecraft after a 2 year stint playing it's "sister" game Wurm Online. Notch previously did all the client development on Wurm.

Boy what a mistake that 2 years was. They are both somewhat similar but Wurm's community and heavy handed moderation ruin the game somewhat. Not everyone is bad though.

Megaman 8-bit deathmatch is vastly superior to both games, really.


spoilers; Use the ancient fishing rod martial arts with diamond sword to defeat the ghasts. Be careful not to attack the pigmen accidentally though, they will put the hurt on you quick.
