I bought this game at my local Gamestop for $6 just this evening. I played it for over 40 minutes. I already want to shove it back down the throats of whoever made it. Hell, I'll settle for the team behind Mega Man X6. If it wasn't for their brilliant idea to make another X game behind Keiji Inafune's back, this atrocity would've never made it to shelves. They could have stopped at X8 and things would have been just fine!

I'll add on to this review as I go on in this game, but here are reasons why I already hate the game.

First, the first area of the game is so dark, it's hard to see around the place. At least they had the decency to put a map in the bottom right so that I have some idea of what's going on, but that doesn't help very much with the second and biggest reason I hate this game. Random enemy encounters. They aren't difficult, but when they pop up at an average rate of one per minute, it gets repetitive after a while. That and it automatically reorients me after the fight so I have to take a few seconds to adjust that and take the chance of, surprise, another fucking enemy encounter. Screw you, Command Mission team and the horse you rode in on. Oh, and reason number three is that weapon energy always starts on 25%. At least in the first area. Regardless of whether you built up 100% or drained all of it with your last attack, you start at 25% and charge up 25% when it comes to your turn in the rotation. At least it also has the courtesy of showing the turn order and how it changes when you use certain attacks.

Because of the clusterfuck of random encounters, I can't figure out how to deactivate the lock on the third floor door. Can anyone help me with that so I can continue this god-awful game?

Gamefaqs is your friend. ;)

Also, I was going to start Mega Man Network Transmission, but I can't find my Gamecube memory card.

After finishing MMBN6, I've been pining for more, but I've heard that MMNT is not a very good game at all.

MMNT is a good game in my opinion it applies Battle Network to the same 2d platforming that made MegaMan good

Megaman NT is good as long as you're patient with it. It's a lot like the Classic series, but it is also a bit more complex and unforgiving.

I don't see what you guys are bawwing about...
I liked it. <.<

Though the final boss was... highly overpowered. Took him down though.
