Project Miracle-M is a Must-See for MM Fans!
« on: September 29, 2015, 08:50:43 PM »
Indiegogo project features a new Mega Man-like game.
The game is being developed for PC, with Mac, Linux, Xbox One and PS4 potentially available as stretch goals.

Check out the project here: http://igg.me/at/project-mm

I like how it basically only describes itself as "mega man is cool so we're going to do a spiritual successor too" and then doesn't actually explain a thing about what the hell the gameplay is. It looks like some weird bastardized version of MMZ or ZX and the Q&A is confusing.

Also:
Quote
Is Dr. Light the creator of Max?
No, neither Dr. Light nor Dr. White. There will be no Dr. Shine or anything along those lines. We want this project to find its own identity and we want to avoid similarities with other games. Max was created by someone, but this person will be revealed at the end of the game.

Perhaps a better way to do that is to not make something that looks so Mega Many... meh.

It looks too much like megaman (like mmz,zx style) yeah.... and the kickstarter doesnt seem to have a lot of hype with people.... 90$ in 4 days.
EDIT: omg http://sengem.com/projectmm/crowdfunding/anim1.gif
Are you gonna add pirateman in the game? Or it's just an animation test with him? =P
No gameplay video too, so totaly "RIP", seriously.

Seriously do not want.

Hm. Well this was a weird thing.
Also wouldn't really compare that to MN9's absorb dash when it's pretty much the blade armor dash from MMX6. Though I guess it would have also been 8 way with a health cost?
Health cost attack dash brings MMU's Z-Prototype mode to mind.
8 way dash seems like a new thing for the genre though. Not gonna lie, that aspect actually does seem pretty fun and revolutionary considering what it does for the fighting games that have it.

Crazy how people use kickstarter to show some projects who are not done at 1%..... (well, like Red Ash...)
If there is a little demo thing or other, it's always better.... (a little like Mighty9)

RIP Miracle-M (with 300$ around, i though it could be even a little more x)
