For those who are interested you sign up in this thread. This is the official sign ups for the CBL (Class Based League).

UPDATE!
The current teams for the CBL will be reduced from 4 players to 3 players a team. That means there's no 4th on standby waiting for a team, because we do not have the sufficient number of players to make up even 6 teams of 4 players to run this event. We are extremely close to 6 teams of 3 players which is a lot more realistic.
For those who are in the FA who want to be a captain you may PM me now to change your status. The remaining players will be assigned a captain and thrown in a team if no one is going to step up. That way everyone in the FA can play.

Updated the roster! We now have officially reached 19 players which means we can get started on 6 teams of 3. I have now added the teams that signed up as teams with their captains.
For those who aren't in a team yet now it is the time to step up and become a captain and create a team, and if no one else wants to be a captain and form a team I will then make teams out of the remaining players and assign captains.
Also submit a team name! We now have the CVC aka Cut vs Cow Bonne Pirates. Team 2 and Team 3 need names.

So with discussion among ourselves (briefly) it is decided to extend sign ups for the first few weeks of the CBL to allow new players to join the FA on the off-chance team members start flaking or no-showing.

Me and my team are outta this biz, it's not particularly efficient to waste so much time trying to coordinate for a match and then play something short and random with silly rules that don't make anything fun in the end. i apologize to the guy hosting this dealerino if it causes any inconvenciences or whatever. good luck to the other teams tho, hope they have fun.

In over 10 years of playing doom and mods online, I've never seen a team dip out in any league after 1 loss... Oh well #notmytournament

Sure.
They quit because they didn't want to play anymore. Simple as that, and no more conversation needs or needed to happen on that front.
If I see further continuation of this from either side I'll have to take more drastic measures to end it, and I'd really prefer not to.
