I said I'd think about trying this out and everyone has absurd amounts of faith in me, so I'll do my best.

Since I actually know what I'm going to do for my map I'll sign up to take last place again.

Hi, I'm gonna alter one of the rules slightly as many people have had some issues with the fact that null pillars are in all three of the map sections. While the idea of it being something you must work around is appealing, the fact that it is in all three of the sections is a bit stale and it's like forcing someone to do a super hard backflip. They did it once, they did it twice, but you just demand they do it again for no reason. As such, you are allowed to mess with the null pillars in only one of the three map sections. However, they still must be a pillar of sorts. Not a 64 Tall Box, a pillar of sorts. But you can adjust the height however you wish. But once again, this is only allowed in one of the map sections, but you can choose which one.

I have a question: Are we allowed to like, outright build something new on the existing map parts? For example, let's say we want to add a big ol' block in the middle of a piece to make it look less plain. Of course, all of this as long as the original parts are still recognisable. Thanks in advance.

You can build onto the map however you wish. The map would be pretty lame if you didn't add things to it.

Feel free to decorate the map pieces! Add pathways, props, little indents in the floor. You can also add 3D Floor areas above (or below!) each fragment, but again, it has to resemble its original form in some way.

That's a yes.

Sorry for the double post but question...

Can the map be any theme or the theme must be the one stated on the wad name which is "train scene"

Now that the holiday season is over, here's a friendly reminder that the deadline is in... about two weeks.

Still, practice is practice, also the feedback at the end.

As I currently have no intention of entering this competition, if anyone wants to send me their map so I can provide a gift basket, feel free to.

I have a question: What if hypothetically, let's say, someone submitted a map, and if they feel like said map needs improvement, are they allowed to work on it and re-send an update before the deadline?

Thanks in advance.
