I'm gonna have to give this a go when I learn to parkour. As of right now I don't know a safe way of getting up top and then coming down again without pulling a lucky houdini and grabbing the red ladder. Same goes for inside the actual castle, the place where Rain Flush (I think) is.

I sincerely hope the next week plays out exactly like this.
Everyone one-upping for third by 10 centiseconds.

I've gotten fencing down nearly flawlessly and I still can't hit below 23.

Atomic Dog is way too difficult, and I can't platform on the torches for the life of me. I think I might have to sit out the medals on this one... Unless I can put my fencing talents to another use?  :?

What exactly is this "Atomic Dog" and the "fencing"?
I suppose fencing is the sliding of a rail without triggering a loss?

I kinda need to ask about a thing or too as well, if anyone whom is a top competitor right now feels like sharing; How you manage sliding off a rail from a high height without triggering a loss, also I don't think I follow what inputs you need to Rush Coil up to Rain Flush and not trigger a loss.  I've seen both done, I just must not understand the inputs.  Or maybe if there's some semi-complex binds involved, I dunno.

If I learn the technical stuff, then I'll mash my face against this competition over and over until I get an ok time

Side note: It might be cool once the competition is over to post a full ranking of all the community times, or maybe update once in the middle of the comp to see where people are at.  Unless that's too much work.

Fencing - Land on a fence without losing, not quite sure how it works but you kinda slide off it. Only place it is used is from falling from the Yamato Spear ledge really.
Atomic Dog - Making the jump from the outside stairs onto the castle wall without touching the grass and picking up Atomic Fire.

On the subject of fencing: I am sure you can get to Air Shooter from Rain Flush by taking advantage of that, but the jump is very tight, but
looks like a good shortcut.

Now the input on the RainFlush: Summon Rush, dont jump! He shoots you upward, and at a certain point you simply press jump, also, be sure not to hug the wall, else you jump immediatly on the wall.
Its a so called "Jump cancel".

I gave up after it started to rely on SR50 to get the best time. Without it though, I'm happy with what time I got.

As for the fencing, it relies on hitting the far edge of the rail, and then sliding off of it. Atomic Dog is using a Rush Coil to jump from the stairs down to where Atomic Heat is, but bouncing off Rush to land on the castle wall on the other side. Contrary to what some people say, Atomic Dog is NOT SR50 only. Both are difficult tricks, but with practice, they aren't as bad as it seems.
In my opinion, the hardest part is the ladders inside the tower containing the Flash Bomb token. I feel like the jump to the red ladder kills more runs than Atomic Dog, Torch Jump or Rail Jump.

For the red ladder in the tower with flash bomb i usually walk forward normally on the second thick dark line on the floor to the right, i do hit the ladder pretty accurate and low by doing it this way, you may have to decrease your speed a very little bit in midair.
