For those who may thusly be worried about the composition of the pools, they will be made in an unambiguously objective manner (e.g., randomly or by an uninvolved third party).

I've got a quick question before the tournament starts about the pools; is everyone guaranteed to get out of pools and into the big double elimination bracket?

I remember the 2012 Duel tournament I was in a way back had Round Robin games that only the top two players made it into the upper bracket and the bottom two got sent to a consolation bracket, both single elimination.

I've kinda had my head in the sand for any tournaments in between so I'm a bit unfamiliar with how they ran.

Yes, thank you. Everyone will be in one double-elimination bracket. The pools will help to determine your seed within that bracket.
