Player Power Rankings

I was thinking of hosting another tournament sometime later on in the year, in an attempt to provide some amusement for the players on this forum. What kind of tournament, we shall see. Either a duel tourney or a 2-man team tournament, but we shall see.

But my question, for the purposes of seeding (if it's a KO tournament) is who are the top 10 players here? You can use any rationale you want in determining the list, but I'm curious who we all think is the best.

Since I haven't seen everyone on here play, I'm not sure if it's prudent for me to give an opinion, but I'd appreciate it if I could have something to go on for when OJ is done with his new Brossession tournament.

Also, I might use results from the current duel tournament for determining overall player strength.

So, who all do you think the top 10 are?

A problem arises with this.  There are different measures for how good players are.  For example, in deathmatch, I'm pretty dang good, but I can't duel for crap.  Last Man Standing I'm not too good, but I kick butt in CTF.  When trying to come up with the best player, you'd have to have a balance of all modes.

I'll clarify. Either duel mode or DM is fine, because my tournament will probably be one of the two.

Thing is, it's not easy to discern a "top ten" among good players. Some people are better than others, but that's as accurate as you're gonna get, really. I'd like to think of myself as pretty damn good, but I still get my ass kicked by others from time to time.

I'd say if there ever was a "Power" Rankin', then we must have some constant source of consistent and reliable way to get data. Like a ladder could be a good way to do this, since anyone could duel anyone anytime. Also, a ladder is not so rigid as a duel tournament (in terms of time).

I was about to point that out. Ashley did a thread like this before, and it got out of hand quickly. Surprisingly, I was listed as number 5 in that thread, although almost everyone voted for Ashley as one of their three picks. >_>

Duel is one of my weaker modes, but LMS is probably my strongest mode. Because of the competitive mood around here, though, I'm avoiding tournaments because they get way too competitive, and probably feature the most impatience I have ever seen from people.
