YOUR Unofficial game modes!

These are the "Game Modes" that are created by specific conditions that you set. I'll post an example, and you guys can post your own Game Modes!

Game Mode: Zombie Survival
Players: 1-8
Maps: Any
Pk3/WAD's needed: Latest version of Chaos Generator (Plus, of course, the core one that gets it to work)
Game Setting: LMS
Rules: Zombie Survival is set by going to the Chaos Generator Hub, and selecting three values: Zombie, 1/2 Damage, Explode on Death. Then, go to any map you want. The goal is for everyone to work together to survive as long as possible.

Game Mode: Classic Warfare
Players: 2-10
Maps: Specially made ones
Pk3/WAD's needed: any with mades designed for it
Game Setting: TLMS preferably over TDM
Rules: Kill the other team.

Maps should be like courts, with an impassible point keeping teams on their own side.

Game Mode: Hide N' Frag
Players: 5+, more on larger maps
Maps: Big complex ones
Pk3/WAD's needed: As many map packs as possible
Game Setting: TLMS
Rules: One player must seek out all the other players, who are hiding and sneaking around. After a 10 second countdown, anyone the seeker locates must stand still and take his death like a man. The last man hidden becomes the seeker for the next round.

Game Mode: Wep. Infection
Players: 4+
WIPs/PK3s: Any weapons mod (opt)
Settings: Drop Wep on, Weps Stay off
Map: any
Rules: Everyone uses the "give [any wep]" command for the weapon of choice and use that weapon and buster only. When someone dies, they drop their weapon for others to use. When they respawn, they use the command again.

Players: 2+
WAD/PK3s: Chaos Generator (Latest Version), Classes 6d or beyond
Settings: Double Speed, Fast Weapons, Half Damage
Map: Any
Rules: Play any gamemode you want, but everybody must be Quick Man.

Yea, if any of these game modes are noteworthy enough, they might as well be made into an official mode.

THE LAST INNOVATIVE CODER
(alternatively: Last Man Possession)

Description: Fusion of LMS and Possession. Based on a older qbox mod which spawned motherboards in LMS games. Theoretically, you could active DMflags for LMS and Possession at the same time, although I've never bothered enough people to give it a shot.

Maps: Generally suited to smaller maps, like Dust Man. Hold time would probably be small, around 10-15 seconds.

Effect: Decide between two victory conditions: Defeat all the other players, or steal their coding and escape, driving them into despair! Also works with qbox, so that the board holder can use feral animals to defend himself.

Name: Survival Invasion
Players: 4+
Maps: All compatable Invasion maps
PK3/WAD's needed: Any map pack with at least one Invasion map.
Game Setting: Invasion
Rules: When one dies, they cannot play and must spectate until the game is over, or until the game restarts.  If everyone is dead, they all lose.  All those left standing win.

Well. I suppose in terms of MM8BDM that is unofficial. But survival invasion very much exists in doom.  :ugeek:

What if there were a 30 second timer after the round starts. Within that time, all players on the hiding team (team game for obvious reasons) find a spot to hide (also spawns with Item-1 to allow for more hiding places). Upon the timer hitting 0, all players on that team have their controls disabled. The seeker then has an allotted time to find each player. He starts with 1:30 or so, and killing a player adds 0:30 to their timer. If the hiding team has at least one player left standing, they win. Make it a melee weapon so he has to "tag" them. Otherwise sounds great.

Or you could make it infinite Top Spin / Slash Claw so you don't have to make any new weapons. :ugeek:

Here's a game mode that I've hosted before. Like original bot apocalypse, this requires full time moderation.

Game mode: Haven't really given it a solid name yet.
Players: 1+, though not too many as that will lag.
Maps: Any
Pk3s/WADs needed: OnlineOfflineSkirmish
Game setting: Team Deathmatch
Rules: All human players go on Dr. Light's team. Each of those players' bots will join Dr. Wily's team. This is essentially us playing against the bots of us. The aim is to win. Botskill should be set to 4 so that they are more threatening and have a chance of winning.

I've wanted this to be turned into an automatic pk3 game mode like bot apocalypse, but I don't think i'll be able to make it. Also some players don't have bots, so they can't enjoy it as much since they aren't fighting themselves.
