Idea: 5-Team Support?

So seeing that King hijacked the fourth team's slot from Mr. X, I was wondering if out of some stroke of luck a slot for a fifth team could be considered, while the current Team 4, the King Team, represented with the color yellow instead of purple, and Mr. X returns to being the fifth team, represented by purple.
What follows are altered King's Purple team stuff to reconfigure them into yellow just incase anyone's interested.

generally what's more important in this case is the color set used for the team colors.

if you're going to make a suggestion like this, you should totally include some examples of recolored skins using your chosen palette.

I would suggest using a large amount of different kinds of skins, such as ones that use cyan for highlights, details, or different parts of the body.

No, not for the core game. We barely see four teams get used, nonetheless five teams.

Also, purple is a royal color and King is a King. It still fits.

In that case, yellow could work for Cossack instead.

Yeah, I tried out a yellow color scheme on a bunch of the skins, and didn't look too great anyway. Personally I do support King getting yellow, however- purple just doesn't fit him very much.

I disagree. Purple is often associated with royalty, which is damn near perfect for King.

Oh yeah! This reminds me of that time I thought up an idea for a cool extra team in 8BDM.

Except they were the Stardroids.

And the team colour was green

Also, Mr. X team being grey sounds neat. Although the 1 Flag CTF flag already is grey.

If there's ever a mod that adds in one or two extra teams, the Yellow Team (in my case the King Team) would use colors alike MM9's Hornet Chaser, while a Green Team (belonging to the Stardroids) would use Sakugarne's colors. The extra two teams (including Mr. X returning, King being "re-colored", and Stardroids as an entirely new team) would be separate addons; and would support any game type that allows three teams or higher. They would add in the necessary graphics and result themes.

Somewhat related (since I am on the topic of winscreens): any reason why the Cossack Team Lose theme has MM4's Game Over chime play before the proper MM4 Password theme? I just find it odd.

This would seem more likely to actually happen if it stayed as a 4-team limit for actual play, but enable teams to vote on just which team/color they are going to represent from a potentially quite large pool of options.  Maybe something like this?

From the research I did, no. I figure this team limit in Zandronum was going to get mentioned at some point. If it does somehow support more than four teams, I've yet to see an example.
