Well with the Pokemon online server and the discussion thread being more active nowadays I say it is time for a video game tournament on this forum that is not MM8BDM.

Tournament rules.

1. Each round will be played as a best 2 out of 3 match.

2. If anyone uses any banned pokemon, moves,or clauses they will be disqualified from this tournament.

3. In case you're wondering the tier I think this would belong in would be normal OU (however you can use dream world abilities)

4. Because people wanted a pokemon online setting, you may only have one team for the entire thing

5. After round one there will be a losers bracket

Uber Tier'd Pokemon

Here's the standard rules to pretty much most games.

Species Clause - A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same National Pokedex number on a team.
Sleep Clause - You lose if, at the end of your turn, two of your opponent's Pokemon were put to sleep by a move you used but were not forced into, and neither have had their sleep removed since then.
Evasion Clause - A Pokemon may not have the moves Double Team or Minimize in its moveset, or hold the items Brightpowder or Lax Incense.
OHKO Clause - A Pokemon may not have the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold in its moveset.
No EVs! No Ivs! Neutral Nature only! 6 Smeargles! OHKO moves only! Leppa Berry only! Final Destination!
Moody Clause - A team cannot have a Pokemon with the ability Moody.
Drizzle + Swift Swim - Using both a Pokemon with Drizzle and a Pokemon with Swift Swim on the same team is banned.

MM8BDM Discussion / Solarblast5's Tournament for Newcomers CANCELD PLEASE LOCK!

I have been on Cutstuff for a while and have seen some MM8BDM tournament's, and I decided to host my own.  However I have seen that time and time again that the same people get far in it, and most of the lesser skilled players get out the first round.  So I decided that I will host a tournment for lesser skilled players.

IF YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF ABOVE AVERAGE YOU CAN NOT JOIN.  If you think your skills are lacking just sign up you do not need an invtation, just don't be modest and use your own judement. Secondly if you do not post your information in this thread I will not register you.

THIS TOURNAMENT IS FOR LESSER SKILLED PLAYERS I DON'T WANT "PROS" IN THIS (caps used for notifcation).  This I can not tell (for the most part) so you have to be honest for this but if your unsure here is an outline. If your in a tournament of five rounds and on average you lose on round 3 your too skilled, also if you are in the the middle-high area of the score board of a  at the end of a DM match your again, to skilled. The matches are 1v1 matches but it may not be duel mode, but you can play duel. Other the supported as well, DM, CTF, One Flag CTF, Possession, Instagib, buckshot add on, and Classes with any map pack.  For Classes rememeber 2 things 1. Classes have to be even matches like Snakeman v.s Gyroman is not allowed. 2. Random is counted as a Class, if you and your opponent both pick random and you get a Snake v.s Gyro kind of match up you have to restart the match, Im trying to make this even as possible.


Hosting, anyone who can host but don't want to participate say so. Anyone can host, but you can not host your own match. This will give your opponet a disadvantage. I will PM you and ask for avalabillity when there is a match if you can host.  
Information:  To regster your self just give basic information (Name Avalabillity etc) and sign up quickly the bracket is a tree elimination, the most amount of players that will be registered is 8.  Please make your matches in advace and pm your opponet to settle terms (mode, time, maps)  then post them on here.  I want to be at that match to record a non demo recording (If you can also do this with an external program (i.e Camstudio) PM me) and post it here.  Lastly registering is on a "first-come-first-serve" basis, so HURRY UP AND REGISTER and http://wiki.teamfortress.com/w/images/b ... misc02.wav.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.............your opponet has a ten frag lead

"You'll get e'm next time champ".........Lose the first round

METAL GEAR.........play a +50 frag instagib DM

Bladed psycopath......all matches are +50 frag instagib DM

1337..........Play one vanilla duel match

h@rd(0r3 1337........play vanilla duel all throught out your time in the tournament

BRB pizza pockets.......be afk for 5 minutes

FALCON........... Play a match with  Hard Knuckle, Super arm, and Charge kick used in the same round.

Get on the point dumb@$$........taunt and shoot as quickman on a flag point in CTF or One Flag CTF

TF2 noob....................In the tournament get killed by, fire, buster,crash/hyper bombs, a break apart weapon (i.e dust crusher)
shadow blades, homing weapon, rapid fire weapon, and use plant barrier shortly after one of these weapons hit you.

Flawless victory............In a duel win a match without getting fraged once

KABOOM BABY.........Get 3 frags using the same explosive weapon in the same round.

Movie maker.........Record the match

Xbox live.......get an achevement.

Im not a crazed gun man I'm an assassin........Camp

China bot war.........In CTF kill an opponet with a your flag when your holding their's.

First map is Pharomans tomb.
This map is currently being fine tuned.
Working on wireframe/terrain .
About 75% done on frame/terrain.
