Quote from: "Beed28"
Today, I just learned that one of my close friends has died. She had to go to hospital to have an operation of some kind, but she didn't make it... The news has particularly hit me hard since she and me have known each other very well.
Nothing on earth stays forever
But none of your deeds were in vain
Deep in our hearts you will live again
You've come to the home of the brave.

May your friend rest in peace.

I'm really sorry to hear about that, Beed. I know how it feels to lose a good friend. May she rest in peace.

When one hears of someone losing one they cared for over the internet, many people shrug their shoulders and move on due to how impersonal text is and how the internet is inhuman in nature.  When it happens to you the shock settles in, it becomes personal and it hurts. Most people can understand losing a relative,  but few can understand losing a friend.

I cannot give you relation, for I have never lived through this yet, but I can give you my condolences and support. While I cannot speak for everyone, I feel confident that this small, 8-bit, community will give you the same level of support that your friends and family would.

                                                                                 RIP
                                                                         Friend of Beed's

what

YouTube messed up it's comments section.

Now, it is harder to see what comments people are responding to, because clicking on the "In response to [NAME]", just re opens the video IN A NEW TAB, SO THERE ARE 2 COPIES OF IT. ow my ears
I can probably infer it was changed to make it work better in phones, which really shouldn't be made to watch videos intended to be watched on a computer anyway.

By the way, I am sorry for your loss Beed. (It took me quite a while to figure out what to say there, I am TERRIBLE at responding to these types of situations.)
Of course, I will probably get better at them responses..... when something like that happens to me... *gulp.

I'm wondering...

Since noone's adding to the charamari anymore (also almost all available space is taken anyway), is it appropriate to put it into the archive, so that our labours aren't wasted if the thread is purged?

Wasn't there a discussion about Yume Nikki in here half a year or so ago? And didn't some people say that they liked that game?
I think I found an article about a game from 1998 that could be considered a spiritual predecessor.

I had a crazy comic idea based on yugioh

Guy summons skilled dark magician
Opponent plays skill drain
Looses skill and becomes a regular dark magician
Opponent: ...crap

I've always wondered why the skilled dark magician was weaker than the  regular one

Because skilled people often overestimate themselves or limit their potential because they don't want to use tactics that are considered "cheap"?

Don't I have a Hyozanryu lying around somewhere ...?
