Epic fire sky textures - Just a in-file texture modification
« on: November 14, 2009, 11:18:56 AM »
Yes, another texture patch by me.. (Some kind of "Boo!" here?)
Notice: You can use this online, just rename the file to "GvHv2b5(.pk3)"

Download it here, if you want. (Click on the "Download" text, for those who don't know.)

And here's a screenshot. (It looks MUCH better animated and without HQ*X on.. Believe me. :P)

And it doesn't look like total bullshit in software either! :D[/list]

Enjoy, if you actually wanted to try this.
Hooray for my epic fail topics.. XD

Texture Maker FTW. :P
The textures were rendered in "Texture Maker's *Particle System* and it's "Fire" project's emitter's settings tweaked.
The really hard thing was to make the HIRESTEX and ANIMDEFS lumps. Oh, and renaming them was a pain, too. (Had to do it 2 times, aka 126 files renamed.)
