Ping affects hitscans more than projectiles because projectiles move slowly anyway. The amount that higher ping changes your lead as a percentage is much lower for plasma than for hitscans.

Anyway, bitching... that pickup message "You picked an arrow" is still there. D:<

Lightning arrows don't have randomized damage.

People complain about randomized damage. :P

Ah, Jitterskulls have it even worse (unless the area has alot of cover you can step over).

I am going to just stop reading here because you don't play with any other class but Jitterskull, sorry.
Pretty much this. If you're going to rant about riotguns, you should at least be good at playing marine. You should also know what it's like to shoot a riotgun with 200+ ping; good luck doing your "point click and boom" when you don't even know where your enemy is.

And they say Jitterskull is cheap, even now! The fools. They never played the ghoul side and suffered from this.
Oh I love irony. (BTW yes we have.)

Hunter: Dispel arrow. Instead of having to release it (makes noise, annoying with fire) just puts the arrow back in your quiver.

the new human has already been chosen.

Chosen? And who the hell is him?

Santa is getting a make over and I've decided what I'm going to replace him with.
But I'm sure a lot of people here want to know who it is. :p

Um... no. The whole point of GvH is to stay away from the instakill melee Ghouls and shoot them with your gun.

Anyway, the new human has already been chosen.

I remember this bug happened with the old 98a betas. When ghostbuster traps activate, there is no blue cone. Was there ever a known fix? I'm in OpenGL.

You're rewarding someone for making killing streaks thus pissing off the remainder of the opposite team who now has to fight a fully healed /restocked/ super powered/ whatever enemy. How exactly is this fair?
This. Balancing GvH is hard enough without throwing the victory to whichever team happens to get the upper hand first. I think it's a problem that AOW is having trouble overcoming.

Quote from: "CutmanMike"
Random murders balance though, which is why most projectiles in GVH are now fixed damage.
IMHO people are way overreacting to random damage.

And i dont think i ever saw an option to remove textures. An certain unnamed person often is said to "hack" by doing that. I would be curious about how that option is called and where its found.
Is it possibly Display Options > OpenGL Options > Texture Options > Textures Enabled? (Which changes the gl_texture CVAR.)

Now that the proton pack and traps are split into completely separate weapons, I would prefer that traps be set with primary fire and detonated with secondary fire. Does anyone else feel this way?

There is also a texture issue that has been bugging me since CD came out:
(click to show/hide)
I think that the old one looks much better.

EDIT: Two more small things: the ghostbuster does not recharge while standing on objects, and the choke's bloodball has autoaim.
