Projects & Creative / Recreation - A Map Project

Howdy folks FGG here with an all new project that I've been working on called "Recreation"
Pick up v1.0 >Here< (Recreation-MP_v1.0) which features RCTF01 - 08 and RECDM01
The goal of this project is to take maps from other games, and recreate them for 8bdm.
Now the thing is, I'm making this a community project, so anyone can submit a map for project (hit me up on discord), the only requirement being, it is a replica of a map from some other game.

The issue is lack of interest from others, the higher priority on my list is Original DOS, but as a single person tackling it all is a hard task. Also lack of textures to let the maps look more unique. Otherwise there are some ideas I have in mind for some of the maps.

Reading the gaming industry tea leaves, I think it is apparent that it is time for someone to make a Battle Royale mod.
We actually talked about this a little on discord, but there is a lot of factors that need to be handled for such an endeavor.

All the MM7 fortress maps were removed from SP for chapter consistency. Each chapter having 1 or 2 fortress stages instead of some with 5 fortress stages and some with 1 or 2, also keeping chapters from dragging on.

If the hit boxes matched the skin size then bigger characters wouldn't be able to fit into small spaces.

Dude, enough about Dynasty Warriors, nothing from it will ever be in 8bdm.
As for the story, Mike had said 11 will be implemented depending on it's story, but as it stands V will be the intended finally of 8bdm.

I understand English is not your first language, but there is a Mega Man Discussion subsection here at the cutstuff forums, you have been posting in the MM8BDM Discussion which is for things about 8bdm specifically.

Still not the right section. This section is for 8bdm, the core game, this thread is not about 8bdm but instead other mega man games, so it goes in Mega Man Discussion.

This thread should probably still be closed, or at least moved to the Mega Man Discussion section, since none of these will be in core 8bdm, so it doesn't belong in this section of the forums.
