well, here we are. at cutstuff.net. awesomest place ever.
so, i made this thread 4 those who have questions about anything mega man related.
actually cuz im super freakin sick of makin topics of questions like CRAZY!
 so, u got a question? maybe a million. someone might possibly answer it, but i sure wont cuz im as clueless as you!
so start askin!

1. how many times had zero died and then came back? hes like freakin kenny from southpark!
2. why is there megaman references in south park?
3. i heard zero was originally supposed to have a diffwrent name, what was it?
4. when was zero made.
5. in the first mega man, the year was 200X, in the second, it was 20XX,why is that.
6. what do the x's in thwcmm timeline stand for?

Zero was originally going to be X--or rather, X was originally going to have Zero's design.  Inafune didn't design Mega Man's original design, so Mega Man X was his first chance to design his interpretation.  CapCom liked the design, but they found it too stark a contrast from what Mega Man was in his classic incarnation, so his appearance was assigned to the supporting character of Zero.
5. Everyone always expects crazy technology to be out in the near future.  I'd imagine that CapCom was thinking, "Yeah, by 200(insert number here), we'll totally have industrial humanoid Robots!"  As the 2000's came and went, CapCom realized that that was unrealistic and changed it to the more ambiguous 20XX (Which could be anything up to 2099).  Now, it's just sort of their thing.

Where did Light and Wily get their phD's?

Well Light got his PhD in Psychology (with a minor in programming), while Wily's PhD is in Engineering. They both attended the Robert University of Technology.
