Really dumb question.

I was wondering if Doom Builder 2 was portable; that is, it doesn't require any device drivers or anything to run.

Deathmatch is portable, I run it off my flash drive all the time!

I got DB2 to work, but I just need to know if it's possible to use it on a different computer or off a flash drive. If not, that's fine, but I won't be able to map as much as I would like.

Thanks in advance.

I can't remember if it requires any extra dlls or windows updates. I shouldn't think so though.

I have a problem. When I load my .wad in Doom Builder, it says something like "Here are the maps found in the wad. Please choose the correct map" and it gives me only one option: whatever file I added to the .wad last. Its really annoying because when I load it, it makes it so it counts as my .wad has nothing but maps in it. I don't know what the problem is.

Not sure if I should ask this here or make a new thread but how would I go about creating a new "thing"? Like a decoration that just sits in place and is static/animated?

Do you mean "decorate"?

That's just custom objects Cutmanmike made for MM8BDM.

Yeah, how would I go about making a new object for a map? Custom content I mean. There's a couple things I want to add for a custom map I'm working on and I'm not sure how one would go about it. Any tutorials anyone could forward me to?

He means stuff like Gyro Man's pillars, yashichis, etc.
He wants 'em dense too.

Or like the Snake head in Snakemans stage. It's just a static prop with sprites for all sides. I want to make something like that. I have all the sprites, I just can't figure out how I'd go about doing it.

I'd love to know too, it would help make MM9 and MM10 stages nicer.

Read/download all of these. Don't go "TL;DR". If you read it. You'll easily be able to make custom "things".

Don't be so modest. I don't use decorate without having Decorate Assistant. It just makes life so much easier when I don't need to memorize a bunch of keywords!

I never knew so many used it. I never use it! It really needs updating too but it's a lot of grunt work   ;)
