Tutorial Collection / Re: [TUTORIAL] Creating new skins for MM8BDM
« on: March 03, 2013, 02:26:55 PM »
You can't. You could add a music file to the skin replacing an already existing track, but it would play regardless of the skin being used.

You'd need to create a custom class for the skin or something similar with a few ACS scripts.

Try changing the sound names to something shorter and/or converting them to another format. I had this issue some time back and it just fixed itself when I changed the conflicting sound names for some reason.

There's thousands of programs that allow you to download a video's audio, aTube Catcher is one.

Seriously, I know this is a forum and all, but Google exists for these kind of questions. You'd get an answer way faster too.

Just unzip a texture pack file and you should get everything you need for a base, it's actually not as complicated as one would think. Just find the image file you want to edit, do so and zip everything again. Just make sure it's a ZIP and not a RAR file.

I think one of the last updates even separated each item and block into its own file so texture packs are even easier to maintain now.

The WWW board / Re: Megaman 8-bit Deathmatch Skype Family

The original Family chat split like, years ago. The volunteers listed are either in split smaller chats or aren't in the community anymore. You're better off contacting someone that you know is on one of the main chats and ask him to add you to it.

Nobody liked half of those hats anyway.

The community is overreacting in my opinion, though I do agree it feels like they're taking away part of TF2's history along with them.

Help & Editing / Re: mm8bdm v3a is corrupted?
« on: January 13, 2013, 10:33:15 AM »
Just download it again until it works. Your internet died while you were downloading it or something similar, causing the file to become corrupt. Pausing the download also causes this sometimes, depending on where you were downloading it from.

If it keeps happening then something is probably wrong with your computer.

Skins & Bots etc / Re: Lio's Workshop (Black Mage Updated)

Updated Black Mage with fixed palette colors. Its hands shouldn't shift between 2 colors anymore and I left the orange-y hue in as suggested.

Must be the new palette then since that's not supposed to happen. I wouldn't know since I haven't actually played the game in quite a while, my bad.

I'll try to fix it as quick as I can.

Sorry, I'd rather keep it as it is. I switched it because I didn't want to go by the NES color limit and it looked better to me.

A lot of the sprite is heavily edited to look better anyways, like the hat.

there was no multiplayer in the first All-Stars Racing so I have very few hopes for the sequel
Pretty sure it's been confirmed to have online multiplayer for the PC version.

Speaking of, Good Guy Lakister just gifted me it a few moments ago and I have to say the game looks amazing. This coming from someone who dislikes Sonic and isn't a fan of Sega in general.

Just delete ".bak" in the file name. Since the files Slade creates are named xxxx.pk3.bak that will change it back to a .pk3 file, making it useable again.
