OH WHAT A TRUE TANK SUPPORT YES

I still hold that Taric/Leona function well in that regard but Braum does look deliciously tanky.

Also my current LoL name is Doctor Flip if people want to play now that summer is almost here and I have time again.

I've pretty much mastered Teemo in botgames (My strategy is to get as much HP as possible so I don't die, as well as getting lots of attack to take down enemies), so I was looking on the store to try and find any Champions that looked interesting so I could master them (Because none of the Default characters interest me at all), and eventually decided to buy Amumu. I'm probably going to still get as much HP as possible just in case, but his recommended gear seems to be geared towards Jungling, which I'm not sure how to do. Any tips for either how to Jungle, how to be a good Amumu, or both?

I'm just going to throw this one right in here: don't get Attack Damage on Teemo. I may be one who doesn't like forcing the meta and such onto people, but AD is just so bad on Teemo.

Bad scaling with everything he has, and his second passive Toxic Shot scales on Ability Power with impact and damage over time. More powerful damage over time and impact damage together by building AP is better than it sounds. Orange text means AD, green text (was it green?) means AP.

Try for items like Wit's End and Nashor's Tooth, but do be sure to build your defenses (if you feel like you really need them) based on the enemy team.

Looking up guides/watching other people play champs you're interested in is a decent way to start learning a champ/role.  Main thing you need to keep in mind is that you'll make plenty of mistakes at first, but patience and persistence are key.

As for playing Teemo, building him AP is usually the most effective route.  Like Ceridran said, almost nothing scales with AD on Teemo.

I'm assuming you want to play Amumu anywhere, huh? Nothing wrong with that.

Amumu is an AP Tank, so AP, Armor, Resist, and Health are very good builds. As such, Abyssal Scepter is a great grab, and Randuin's Omen is also great once you've got plenty of armor and magic resistance. Frozen Heart is also a good pick, grab it with the Omen or ignore the Omen. My logic is probably flawed despite these actually looking fine, but these appear to synergize greatly with Amumu.

Items aside, he's geared around "hugging" enemy champions (lonely, right?) and preventing their escape. Try that playstyle, but pick your fights carefully. I'm only getting this idea by looking at his abilities.

.. Which, I just want to explain something about two..

Despair is toggled, so you can use it to intimidate enemies, making them fear that you're having it up before your Bandage Toss. NOPE TURNING IT RIGHT OFF AGAIN~

Tantrum's cooldown is reduced every time you are hit by a basic attack. This makes the ability incredibly spammable.

Only problem is that I play against bots, and nothing intimidates them ever. Other than that, the help should come in handy. Now to bust 10 bucks to get enough RP to buy Teemo's Astronaut costume test these strategies out

I don't know if its just me, but I rarely have issues where I'm behind in gold/experience when I jungle.

A more accurate list:
-Your own experience and gold income (Captain Obvious)
-Assist in lanes that need more pressure (Ganking 1.0)
-Secure Objectives (Frequently hitting smite, Buff/Dragon/Baron control)
-Time Objectives (5min for blue/red, 6min for drag, and 7min for baron)
-Become a brick wall and shut down snowballs (Advanced Ganking 2.0)
-Warding and Counterwarding (Give wards to lanes that need them, ward the enemy's buffs, destroy their wards, ward your jungle)
-Counterjungling (Know the risks and rewards given when taking their camps and when to do it)
-A keen eye of map awareness (You want your eye on that map at all times, let others know where people are)
-Become a snowblower, determine which laner will be the most useful, and snowball them (Advanced Ganking 3.0)

There's my version without all the "advanced details/terms" that I have in place with my own personal jungling experience.

Sounds cool. I might try some PvP matches to experience Counterjungling, since the closest bots get to jungling is some occasional ganks. (Although this also means that unless you have a teammate who can take on two bot champions at once, you have to give up having a jungler in order to counter the darn things)

Not really. The average meta is 1top/1jungler/1mid/2bot. Bots don't reflect this well because they're neutral towards the meta.

also, bots are easy, and it's pretty simple to 1v2 them as a top laner.

Oh well, it's a better point. Well played.

I don't think I've ever actually lost a bot match though... the bots are pretty easy, even with recent reworks. Just watch out for Annie bot and other single target mages. They will immediately use everything they have on you as soon as you get into range...

I just had an amazing game, except for the fact that I experienced the downside of playing Teemo all the time.

EVERYTHING WANTS TO KILL YOU.

No really, I got ganged up on by almost the entire enemy team multiple times near the end of the match. It ALMOST worked in my favour once when I tricked a Trundle bot into walking into 3 shrooms in quick succession. Then I got killed. Stupid passive global taunt...

Everything will generally want to kill you anyway; the passive "global taunt" Teemo has doesn't really come into play until you start doing normals.

While either way I find it odd that I play a single match as normal Teemo, and then get ganged up on by 4 bots as soon as I start actually progressing on top.

Anyways, right now I'm saving up for either Veigar, Rumble, or maybe Kennen, I'm not sure which is better, though.
