And your saying it has to be you internal Ip (Default Gateway... Idk how to post the image... T.T but its 192.168.1.1 While Ip is 192.168.1.8) And when I try to use The Internal if its the same as default gateway it doesnt help... it says invalid..... Am I doing it wrong... I added the regular Ip adress
(click to show/hide)

And it worked for me for making the connection and (it didnt show up) I tried changing the protocols but still didnt work

It goes like this

(click to show/hide)

I use netgear and it works for me. And to post a picture, hit print screen while in the router settings, open up mspaint, ctrl + v (Paste) and upload the image. I'll try to help from there.

You don't need a printer >.<
Just follow these steps:
1. Open up the router config/where you're having problems.
2. Look on your keyboard for a button that says either "Print Screen", "PRNTSCR", or something similar. If it's a laptop, it may require you to hold down the function/Fn key first.
3. Open mspaint, or any other photo editing program. Paint.net if you want, even photoshop would work.
4. Hit control/ctrl and v at the same time. The picture will paste.
5. Save picture to desktop then upload/post it.

Sorry if I seemed angry, I was just trying to help. And I can't see the image atm, due to being at school and having 90% of the internet blocked. I'll look at it as soon as I get home.
EDIT: Used tor and looked at the pic. Same menu as mine. Can you open up CMD and type ipconfig and screenshot that?

We dont have exactly the same router but close enough.
(click to show/hide)
Name doesn't matter.
Service type: do both to be safe.
Starting and stopping port: I just realized this is the wrong setup... Start with 10666 (I have one setting for just 10666 and one for 10667-10667) and end with 10670, in case skulltag somehow changes it, or you host multiple servers.
Port should end with .2 in your case.

When its done it should look like this:
(click to show/hide)

EDIT: What did you click to get to your forward window, should say custom service.

I set up port forwarding and everything earlier in the week when I started playing again, and everything worked fine (the tutorial helped a lot, for the record).

However, as of today, hosting no longer works. No settings have been changed (although by now I have completely removed and re-downloaded the game to be safe, set everything back up the way it was, etc.) but suddenly the server doesn't show up in Doomseeker. I can connect manually myself, but other computers get a cannot find server error. Is there any idea what is causing this issue?

Been hosting a Team DM Classes server all week that people have seemed to be enjoying, so I'd hate to not be able to do it anymore.

Update: Nevermind, it spontaneously works again today! -_-

Check if your IP inside the router is always 10.0.0.2

It should at least work for now, it wouldn't mess up until it changed. Did you also add the exception to the windows firewall?
Other than that, it looks good. Also, what os/skin is that?

Your server might be up, just not on your list, can you try hosting now?
