Hosting Needed

Hey there, Sean here.

Servers have been lacking quite a bit recently.
In fact, there was even a time tonight when there were no servers at all.
I kept things going with a duel server tonight, but that's only because I was able to tonight.

I implore anyone reading this: If you are able, go ahead and host a server when things aren't looking too busy. I know that not everyone can, but those with the ability should take initiative.

Honestly, hosting Duel won't really remedy the situation, as a Duel server would only attract those who play it on a regular basis. Also, the whole crashing every 5 seconds thing. You would be better off hosting a game mode that can be enjoyed by the majority (ie. DM, etc.).

With the classes war between YD and King, all the other modes aren't being played at all and that's drowning the very, much intended, spirit of the game itself. At least Rage-Robo took a long, very nessesary break.
I am willing to host more as long as Classes, or some other rage-filled game mode, doesn't hypnotise people into playing that instead, and trust me, they will.

I don't think that is true at all.

I only had five people on my duel server last night, and two of them were people that I'd never even seen before.

New people are attracted to Vanilla servers, not these pk3 packed servers that are usually up.

Also, it became a DM server for the last hour.
People want Duel back. It was extremely popular before the powers that be rendered it problematic.

Alexmax is the main admin of funcrusher. The reason why he isn't longer hosting mm are unknown. Ask him if you want.

Stable duel servers work.. but they are such ass D: WE HONSETLY NEED MOAR TERMINATOR (ESPECIALLY WITH INSTAGIB) Also we need moar domination and skulltag servers :l

Problem is with Terminator, is that it can often be more fun when fighting bots rather than human players. Although it's fun at times, it can be slightly annoying and unfun.

Thought at the same time, I think we should all try out instagib terminator! I might host that soon....
