This reminds me of fortegigasgospel and Magnet Dood's The Forgotten Adventures Project, which was a an unofficial MM8BDM continuation taking place after the MMV chapter. It has its own chapters based on the Rozner DOS games, the Wonderswan game, Rockman Strategy, and it's even implied that a there's a chapter based on a certain Archie Comics storyline. This was started in 2014, back before even the idea of a giant mecha battle against an assimilated Wily Star was conceived. Not much had been done with this expansion since at least 2015, aside from some DOS game content.
WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Man TFA has been on such hiatus for reasons of, no one to work on maps for ODOS. Plenty of ideas I had intended to do for it actually got into core, though without the people doing it even realizing (A fight on the back of Auto's truck, a falling battle to the unused song from MM7, the bonus boss).
TFA was going to be a collection of the expansions me and Dood were working on together in one spot; DOS, &B2, Strategy, and Worlds Collide. With Archie, PB/PF, and Dreamwave sprinkled in.
But now years have passed, standards have changed, and my final boss needs to be changed. As well as a few extra things to potentially sprinkle in. But of course, it needs to get off the ground for that to happen.

There's a Doom E1M4 cover in the files. Does it play after triggering something in a level, or is it a CTF song?
It's in one of the new maps as an easter egg. I'll let you figure out which

Btw, I don't know if all the ctf maps have them, but I know there might be some.

Btw, considering this is the first JAM after MM10: It came from outer space! and MMV, I'm upset this isn't called Space JAM

Pending / Re: [Discussion] CTF weapon layouts are really outdated
« on: November 07, 2020, 11:14:35 PM »
I think Wheel Cutter could go into CTF23 Water Works to replace Metal Blade possibly and find something else to replace Item 1, such as an item or removing it entirely to put Needle Cannon in that spot, since Wheel Cutter serves the same purpose Item 1 had, but at the same time Item 1 is ment to force taking the middle path from the center to be slower then the main paths. Maybe Gemini Laser can be replaced by something else too but I'm not too sure what, though I am fine with it being so. Wave Burner, Crystal Eye, and Knight Crusher are the ones I feel are the out standers in the map.
So imo its a tough call on that map, but if others feel there are some good grounds for replacements I'm willing to let changes happen.

Skins & Bots etc / Re: Cartoon Network Characters as MM8BDM Skins.

Then make them, cause if you don't got either you can't share your skins at all, meaning you can't release anything

I actually wanna say that CBM, CCBM, Objective Combo, Roll's Chaos Generator and other mods, expansions, and map packs should totally submit advertisements.

I kinda personally stopped taking this seriously when it said that MM3MAG has an oppressive gimmick.
Magflys, are somehow an oppressive gimmick. There are 6, 4 of which are stationary, acting not much more differently then a ladder, only faster and slows your horizontal movement slightly.
The other 2 rotate around the central platform and are the only ones that can somewhat catch you off guard, but will only do so if you are right next to the wall they rotate around. These are hardly a "gimmick that control your fate"

Since there isn't gonna be a theme this time around I'll join in again. I am wholey unsatisfied with what I produced last time.

Mega Man Discussion / Re: Mega Man 11

Already came out lol. I kinda wish it was 8-bit graphics and everything tho.
Frankly its actually good it didn't, 9 was ok for nostalgia, but it reverted too much progress, they needed to make progress with the series, put it to the standard of modern games that could appeal to a new generation of people instead of pandering to the niche oldies with graphics that won't attract a younger audiance.

Has anyone made a skin based on Fan from Rockman Strategy?
There was a stupidly old one that was just Megaman edit, but it's probably been lost in time

It is also heavily worth noting that due to the nature of these mods, they are only compatible with CTF maps, however this does include the Recreation CTF pack and many other ones.
Just popping in to mention for folks, Recreation MP is the same thing with non-ctf maps, and some compatibility fixes as well, it will continue updating as such.
