I think this got covered in "Did you know 8bdm" topic. During development Shark Man's mugshot was used as the place holder for the final boss' until it's was made, and "Kill Me Shark Man" is hidden in the game still.

Yeah, when Mike needed a nice lil' mugshot for the final boss, I was a little tired and didn't make it right away, so he took a Shark Man mugshot I had made and used that as a placeholder (but not before scribbling "KILL ME" on it). It was so silly, that I requested it stays in the game as a little secret somewhere...
Considering the addition of the elevator in Light Labs removed the dead Slash Man secret, having a new one take its place is a good thing, haha
