Please test megaman mods in Zan 3.0
« on: January 30, 2016, 03:06:07 PM »
Instead of BestEver, you can use TSPG (same type of service) which supports zan 3.0 servers with the version=3.0 parameter in your .host command.

Each released version will only use stable zdr versions, but the dev team does test against betas to prepare for bugs on the eventual update of zdr.

Zan devs will not be testing megaman (or any) mods.  It's on the people to test ourselves, and report bugs.  So that when zan 3.0 is officially released, your mods won't be broken.

There seems to have been a bit of a misunderstanding here.

We're aware that Zandronum 3.0 compatibility is our responsibility and have been keeping a watchful eye on the test builds. I have personally already taken measures to ensure this game will at least run with the new version and we will handle everything we can as 3.0's release approaches. As of now, however, 8BDM is not compatible with the test builds of Zandro 3.0 and as a result we will not be testing publicly.

Thank you for coming out here to warn us and help us get things running for a better outlook on our next version.
