So I tried to host a TF2 server and ended up finding out that it worked, so I decided to host this event because I could.
So pretty much, I thought we should all play some 9v9 Highlander matches just for the hell of it.
RULES AND SHTUFF (That I didn't actually make up so don't blame me)
-9 players per team (hence "9v9")
-Each team is limited to one of each class
-This is a Best of 3 match.
-The following weapons and items are BANNED from the match:
Enforcer
Pomson 6000
Phlogistinator
Holiday Punch
Bombinomicon
Scout's Bootie Time and Pyro's Jingle Belt
Huo-Long Heater
Red-Tape Recorder
Vitasaw
Pretty Boy's Pocket Pistol
Cleaner's Carbine
-The following item sets are BANNED from the match:
-The way maps will work is that each person is to suggest 3 maps. The 3 maps that get the most votes will be the three that are played on.

So, I had a thought.
Rather than doing all 3 games at the same time, we could spread them out over the course of a 3 Saturdays. The time would either remain at 9 PM or be pushed back to 8 PM if it makes more people able to make it. This would make it more convenient for me and allow me to sign up.
If this causes a conflict for anyone, please let me know at your earliest convenience.

A little tip for any remaining people who want to sign up:
Don't vote for Harvest and Dustbowl. They are definitely going to be first and second because of how many votes they already have.

As much as I'd love playing with some of the people on the RED team, I feel it could potentially weaken strategies and overall drop the performance of both sides.
By the way I'll switch to Engie if someone else wants to play Sniper, I just wanna get this thing moving

Alright, everyone should've gotten my IM/PM as a reminder. Remember to confirm that you will be there so I can get substitutes for those that can't.
Currently need a substitute for Blaze (BLU Demoman) so if you're interested feel free to sign up.
(Substitutes only stay for one game, but can reapply as a sub for a later game if the registered people can't make it)

Alright, we're all set! I'd like everyone on the server by 7:55 PM EST so we can be ready to begin at 8!
How this is going to work:
Just like normal highlander, we're going to play 2 "match rounds". In the first round, we play until one team reaches 3 wins. In the second round, we play until one team reaches 4 CUMULATIVE wins (includes wins from previous round).
I'm also going to attempt to record with Fraps, if I find it too laggy (on my end) it won't happen.
