Anyone else read Megamix and Gigamix?
«
on:

I've already bought and read the first Mega Man Gigamix volume (Asteroid Blues and Burning Wheel) late last year, and now I just got the rest of the Megamix and Gigamix volumes for my birthday today, and I'm enjoying them so far! I've already read the first two Megamix volumes, and they're quite good and funny at times!
Has anyone else read these? What do you think?

I've been meaning to read them for awhile now, but I usually forget/don't have enough time.

I read the first issue and then kinda forgot about it.
I enjoyed it, though.

I got to read Vol. 1, haven't gotten Vol. 2 - Gigamix Vol.3.
It's a good read.

I planned on buying it a while ago, but they didn't sell it in the local bookstore, I really liked the art style.
Happy birthday by the way.

I've finished it. Wow, it got pretty dark in Megamix Vol. 3 and Gigamix Vol. 2 and 3. The aditional stuff at the end of Megamix Vol. 2 and 3 were awesome and funny, though.
Also, I will
never
see those
Mega Man 5
Robot Masters in the same way ever again.

Gameboy, or NES?
I've heard of the Stardroid series in there. It looks amazing.

I'm talking about the NES
Mega Man 5
robots (e.g. Star Man, Gravity Man, Gyro Man, Napalm Man, etc), but then again, the manga also changed my initial view on the Stardroids.
Some spoilers:

I know Terra defeated Mega Man storywise in the Game Boy game, but
good god
were they taken to the next level in Gigamix.

What did they do in that comic, anyway? I know about the carnival thing, but did they appear anywhere else?

Some more spoilers, if my memory serves me:

They also helped fight the Stardroids, but they got defeated.

The books are awesome, i mean, it's a perfect harmony between "robot spirit of classic" with a pretty cool story and emotions.
It's not bad at all, for the classic serie, it's pretty good! Ive seen the first mangas of megaman (but it was japanese) and it was only action (but good pictures).
There is a story, not a BIG story but it's really nice!
Not really a spoiler but about Cossack:

The story with skullman and cossack make me cry...wily isnt really in the wrong thought ='(
