Lego's projects topic MM 8-10 Weapons v2d
« on: July 20, 2011, 10:47:54 PM »
I am making this topic for all of my projects, I think it would be easier to create this topic for my projects that take place in the weapons topic, seeing how ignored that topic is.

Megaman 8-10 weapons pack download v2d here.
The point of this pack is "Hey! I made the weapons from Megaman 8, 9, and 10!" In order for someone to play with these weapons without use of cheats, LMS or Eddie; I made the weapons replace other weapons that are already in the base pk3.

v3a changes: NOTE: I will not release the newest version until 8BDM v3a comes out
(spoilered for space)

Now for the main thing; Should Jewel Satellite hug or no?
(vote up for this)

These are pretty good! I like most, if not all of them, as they have new concepts that are different from most weapons in this game, such as Water Shield and Wheel Cutter. They aren't terribly broken either, which is a plus! So all in all, pretty great!

The only complain I have is that commando bomb must have only 2 waves instead of 4. The other weapons are fine

Good work there, I truly appreciate this. Also, I think Messatsu is planning to add these weapons in another rage roboenza wad, which is another plus!

The patches work by putting EVERYTHING you want to have in BEFORE the patch, then then you put in the patch correlating to what you put in
Example:
Code: [Select]
MM8-10.pk3 MMPU.pk3 MMVWII.pk3 MMV-P-8-10Patch.pk3

I know it's a nice bump. It's only so nice because I was the one who bumped it.

In all honesty though, I'm using the weapons' code for new Battle Chips and Navi attacks. Lego gave me permission. He failed to add any sort of read me or tutorial though, so for a few weapons I was a bit confused as to their particular uses.

Took me forever to figure out Water Shield was just an HP-based Skull Barrier. :ugeek:

It's not HP-Based, it's Hit Based. If you get hit 8 times, you need to put up Water Shield again.

I personally think it's OP, but hey.

Fast weapons tear it to shreds at least. Plus it decays over time.
