i downloaded springman and he definatly needs more cyan. all of the white on his body and arms would be better in cyan! just sayin is all! also one of his walking frames should leave the ground by one pixel. so it looks like he is bouncing! toadman does it and it doesn't make it confusing ingame so springy should too!

It's easiest to do in Photoshop if you can find a copy of it. Select the background with the magic wand, right click to select similar, hit delete, done!

If you don't have photoshop. You can use Gimp which is free BTW.

Select the "Select by Colour" tool. Untick anti-alias and drag the Threshold slider to the max. Click the background, press delete and save as a .png.
