Hello! It's me, Mario! And I would like to thank you for choosing:

This is an addon for Class Based Modifications, it was made purely out of my desire to try this modding stuff and because I thought it would be fun(ny).

Oops! All Marios, as the title implies, adds certain classes to CBM, which all happen to be Marios, each with a different arsenal and different characteristics, and I sincerely hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Future development is uncertain but definitely planned.

Probably on hiatus if development ever continues.

Skins & Bots etc / some Emiliano dude makes skins
« on: October 19, 2019, 03:55:18 AM »
Hello, it is me, the one from the thread's title, and I did indeed make skins for the Mega Man 8-Bit Deathmatch videogame.

Dunno if I can do a proper introduction, since this is my first time posting on these forums, but I've played this game for a while and I like doing sprite things so here you go, even if they're mostly just ok.

Also I made a Stage Select thing like the cool kids.

By the way, feel free to request anything, though there's a slim chance I'll actually work on any requests.

Here's a download to every skin so far

Changelog:

Paper Mario

The titular character from the Paper Mario series (though that should be kinda obvious) packed with his wooden hammer and ready to pound you into a paper-thin pancake. His set of movement sprites are in four angles only, much like in the Paper Mario series itself, except with added front and back attack sprites to match with his Sticker Star/Color Splash appearance, as well as to be less confusing.
My first non-experimental skin, which I made a couple of years ago, can't remember how many, I should have probably touched it up a bit but I'm not sure if I'd ever get around it, though it wouldn't really be that complicated.

The Noid

The mascot of Domino's Pizza before Hatsune Miku picked up that role, the pizza crusher himself, it's the Noid! Along with his trusty Yo-yo... Buster?
His sprites are based off of the ones from Yo! Noid for the NES, though scaled down and somewhat redrawn to fit better in the game.

Wario: Triple Trouble & Waluigi

What started as a simple Wario-Man revamp evolved into more Warios.
Including Wario-Man, classic Wario and Wario with his Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land hat, all with voice clips from Wario World and sound effects from Wario Land 4.
(click to show/hide)

Waluigi's here too, super.
He shoots his projectiles with his tennis racket, he's pretty skilled at tennis after all.
Sound effects are Wario's, voice clips are taken from various games, such as the Mario Party series, mainly Mario Party 3-5.

Bubsy Bobcat

Everyone's favorite Sonic wannabe, the prince of purrsonality himself, Bubsy!
Accolade's previously defunct mascot that has gained quite the reputation over the years, ready to go and armed with his Nerf gun from Bubsy 2 (yeah, Bubsy 2 had a legit Nerf gun).
He can say the funny (has a taunt) and I also made a bot for him because I loved sitting through possibly an hour of dialogue of this thing, from every one of his appearances, except the comics in the first two games' manuals and the modern games.
(click to show/hide)

Magolor + Taranza
These are all bundled together because they share custom sounds.
The sound effects are from Kirby's Adventure.

"I will show you the power of Best Friends!"
Main antagonist from Kirby's Return to Dreamland, certified blue egg and totally not Marx 2, Magolor joins the deathmatch, with plenty of magic spells* up his non-existent sleeve.
*they're just Mega Man's special weapons
His animations are loosely based on those from his playable form in Star Allies.
(click to show/hide)

"No doubt. A miracle will happen for sure!"
The master of puppetry and former best friend subject of Queen Sectonia brings all of his 6 spider hands to the battlefield, and is sure to play you like a fiddle.
Once again, his animations are loosely based on those from Star Allies.
(click to show/hide)

"Got a plan? Glad to help!"
The cosmic jester in his true form, Magolor before Magolor, you better wish on the milky way that you don't cross paths against him, unless you're willing to bribe him with food for your life.
This time, his animations are based on Super Star (though Star Allies has some similar animations), and he has a taunt too!

Alucard (Castlevania)

I don't really play Castlevania so I can't come up with something good to put here, so uhh...
He's Dracula's son and he goes against his dad because he kills people and is stinky or something.
This one was sort of a request, and though I'm not all that satisfied with how it came up, here it is anyway.

Dr. Robotnik (Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog)

The funny snooping man from the popular YTP source, as well as Sonic the Hedgehog's first cartoon, Dr. Ivo "Eggbelly" Robotnik rides in his beloved Egg-O-Matic Hovercraft to vanish, destroy, obliterate the competition.
Yes, he also says the funny (has a taunt).

King Boo

His spooky majesty, ruler of Boos, Portrait Ghosts, Boss Ghosts, etc. is more than prepared to shock the skeleton out of your body with his ambiguously powerful crown jewel and all of his round goodness.
I was playing a lot of Luigi's Mansion 3 when I made this.
Every skin after this has custom sound effects because I like sounds, I know it's not practical but I can't avoid it.

Poltergust 3000 Luigi

Mario's scaredycat brother may not seem well suited, but he'll suck the victory from you if you're not careful (with his vacuum, sickos). With his trusty Poltergust 3000 given to him by Professor E. Gadd, he can overcome anything besides his fear of ghosts.
(click to show/hide)

Dorkly Mario

And now we get to the stupid stuff.
This is Mario as seen in the incredibly hilarous and totally not awful animations from Dorkly, or rather a poorly edited version of the SMW-ish Mario by "Xander son of Xereus".
I'm not entirely to blame for this.

Nerd (Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures)

James Rolfe's persona from his online series as he appears in the game Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures, this was the product of me constantly shouting "ass" whenever I got fragged when playing with friends.
Not sure if it's clear by now but I should put a language warning here, so
LANGUAGE AND RUDE GESTURES WARNING

Big Chungus

And now we get to the stupid stuff 2.
I was refraining from posting this one out of fear or something I suppose, but I made it, it's here and you can get it if so you wish, I'm not gonna hold you alright.
Do be grateful I have zero intentions on making one of Cucumber Richard.
(click to show/hide)

Rayman

Yet another limbless wonder, hugely based on the Ubiart games but loosely inspired a bit by Rayman 2 for animations, he sure packs a punch, and he's even got home delivery!
I've heard he's got a friend that could fix your car.

Purpleguy (oops, turns out this one linked to an image before, sorry)

Purpleguy, William Afton, the man behind the slaughter from the Five Nights at Freddy's series, based mostly on his appearances from FNAF 3 minigames and FNAF World, you'll be lost to this monster.
I do not condone murder in any way, shape or form.

Popple + Fawful
These two also share sound effects, so I put them both in one file.

The self proclaimed Shadow Thief from the kingdom of Beanbean has come to snatch the trophy, as well as a few frags in the way, see?
This beanish character from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga is a favorite of mine, I made him into a skin, and that was a thing, cool.
(click to show/hide)

I HAVE FURY!
Here is the great Cackletta's most best pupil, who is named Fawful! He is having his headgear that will smash your screws like ants of stupidness who are under the shoe of a kid who is angry! If you metallic fink-rats are thinking that you're having victory over and awful nasty such as him, then you are idiots of foolishness! You will have preparing for eating of the mustard of your doom!
Eeyah ha ha ha ha!
He's based on his appearance from Superstar Saga.
(click to show/hide)

Two Pac-Mans for the price of one
You know the deal, shared sound effects (even if it's just one)

Pac-Man as he appears in the SNES/Sega Genesis game Pac-Man 2 (or Hello! Pac-Man in Japan) in all his screamy bipolar glory, he's ticked off and will not pull any punches, literally.
Sprites were majorly based on the origin game of course, rescaled and somewhat majorly modified, specially for any rotation besides X8X2.

Alright this one's a bit of a doozy to explain, short version is that it comes from this tweet (the original is private now).
Me and a bunch of others were thinking of ideas for dumb jokey skins, and although I was reluctant at first due to my inability to draw realistic proportions, let alone animate them, I eventually decided to do it, even if it ended as a half-assed job, which it did.
We dubbed this creature by the name of "Man-Pac".
And of course, the taunt is a segment of the "Pac-Man's Park/Block Town" remix from the Super Smash Bros. games, to stay faithful to the original tweet.
If it goes against the rules to use a song segment of that lenght, I will gladly take the skin down myself and reupload it at a later date with a Famitracker cover instead, so please let me know.

Lanky Kong

He has no style, he has no grace, this Kong will wipe out the human race.
Voice clips and sound effects from Donkey Kong 64 of course, and his taunt is Lanky's Trombone Tremor.
(click to show/hide)

Skull Hater (CBM compatible)

I never got to be into one of them fancy schmancy halloween events where people put Robot Masters in costumes, but I thought it'd be fun to try anyway.
It doesn't help that I've been watching a lot of Wander Over Yonder by the time of writing this.
Has a very cool awesome taunt and a CBM version.
