Personally I'd like to play Light vs Dark ASAP... pretty much right after I get a handle on the controls I'm down to play some of that, it looks like alot of fun.

I'm not going to lie, that too did influence my decision. I really liked the first Kid Icarus game so an updated version for free in "free-dee" is a bonus. But if the multiplayer is as good as it looks I doubt I'll be playing it much. I'm pretty hyped about it myself. But there is this one thing that I think is weird. In Kid Icarus, you jumped ALOT in that game, and in this one there is no jump button... from what I've seen when you are presented with a wall or ledge in yer way you have to look for some weird symbol on the ground that makes you jump, thats weird. But I guess they really couldn't have made you jump any other way considering the control layout. Oh well its a very minor thing but its still weird to me.

I agree, as much as I would like to see those spikey vines that can be caught on fire by the flame sword, and meltable things that can be melted by astro crush/flame sword... I'd much rather them not be in to get the expansion out faster.

I thought the original Kid Icarus was a good game... its just like most games from that era, hard as hell. I got it when I was like 8 or 9 and didn't beat it until I was like 12. This new one has alot of the old enemies in it from the NES version which is appealing to me cuz I really like nostalgia stuff. But the multiplayer is what really sold me on it, it looks like alot of fun.

Fizzyman
Armor: Normal
Speed: Normal
Jump: Normal
Weapon 1:
Soda Spill = Deals no damage, shoots a pool of soda on the floor (like oil mans attack only you dont slide on it) any enemy that walks on it is stuck in place for 3 seconds, can still turn and shoot just can't move due to being stuck to the floor with sticky soda (like at the movie theater).
Weapon 2:
Carbonation = Deals normal damage, shoots a bubble (like bubble mans weapon only slightly faster) uses a weapon meter that refills semi slowly.
Skin: Oilman (until I can get my own skin made)

Thanks! I was just trying to make what was in my head and turning a hothead into a cup of soda seemed alot easier than trying to make something from scratch. I sorta just threw it together to get it made, so not much editing really went into it at all...

Well I had been on the fence about this game... mostly because of the controls, but the multiplayer pushed me over the edge, I ordered it with release day shipping so I'll have it next friday. I'm interested in playing some of the vs matches with you so sign me up... although I only recently got my 3DS and dont know how to get my player code thing so I may need a lil help in that department.



EDIT: I found my friend code... wasn't as complicated as I thought it was.

I finally made a picture for fizzyman... its supposed to look like a red and orange striped cup with soda in it with a straw hanging out (that would be his weapon). So I'm a fizzy cup of soda man!

When I asked about the mega ball (soccer ball weapon) I was thinking about that one boss in wily's castle... I think its the first one you fight, it can drop down from the ceiling in 3 places. And I had to kick that godamned ball to hit it, I think you can use the ice weapon on it too if it drops on the sides... Anyways I think I would cry if that thing was in the expansion, it took me forever to get past that boss.
