God don't make me choose!
All I can really say is that I thought that 1, 4, and 7 were not quite as good as the others.
But I think all of the games were good in thier own ways.
I would say that I liked the story of 5 the best.
But the robot masters in 2 were awesome.
The difficulty of Mega Man & Bass was cool.
Also, the gameplay of 3 was pretty solid.

Fix'd.
MM8 had horrible new controls (Swimming, Snowboards)
MM8 had horrible voice actors.

MM&B was difficult, but it had effing Burner Man and Tengu Man.
MM&B had awesome music for a 16 bit game on the GBA.
MM&B had two characters.
MM&B had no voice actors.
MM&B had the CD Database.
Get my point?

Swimming was good, snowboard was just like AVGN says to Top Gun's Landing ("AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSS!")
I didn't mind the voice acting. Also, what is Zero fighting for? What is a man?

MM&B Wasn't THAT difficult... Just a bit tricky to play with Megaman. The music will be forever win! I rarely played as Megaman (even though he had good stuff!). Lack or presence of voice actors isn't an aspect to praise or frown upon, unless the voice actors have high pitched voice or sounds like Mannosuke. CD Database was interesting, but could have something more to it (dunno, maybe more information?)

And it was going to have "Shoot! Shoot!". It should say "SHIT! SHIT!"

I haven't played all of the classic titles as much as I should have. But my favorite ones were Megaman 2, 4, and 7. 3 was also pretty good, and had very memorable music. The only games I've actually beaten were 2 and 7, though.

Ahahahahaha. Swimming was good, that's a good one.
...Seriously. Let's see you fight any boss if pressing the jump button only makes Mega Man shoot forward like a fucking torpedo.

Both GBA and SNES versions are fine. SNES' version was a bit ear-piercing, but had more elements on-screen.

The GBA version is terrible.  For a good portion of Astro Man's stage, you can't even see the floor, or more importantly, the pits.  Plus, the music isn't as good for most stages.  However, I prefer King Stage GBA music because it has a more driving feel where the SNES one is too mellow.

The GBA version is terrible.

That made me rage.
Mega Man is Mega Man. As long as you can see the floor and the the enemies, your fine. It isn't a rom hack with invisible spikes and instakill pit enemies and enemies that can only be killed with the worst weapons in the game.

Sure, King 2 was much. It was evil. We all knew that.
And that's why Bass is made to be the better character.

They at least made a good, challenging game with a nice soundtrack.
The music didn't get worse. I prefer most of the GBA themes, with the exception of King stage and Burner Man's theme.

You may think I'm defending a horrible game. And by all means, think that.
I'm just stating my opinion that I'd rather play the GBA port than 90% of the megaman games.

It gives me something good to do with my life.  :|

Also, I forgot to mention that having double tap d-pad for Bass' slide was too unreliable.  There were times where I was frantically trying to double tap the d-pad to dash only to get two slight steps forward.  I've never had a problem doing it in any other game.
