Restarting Zandronum

How do i restart zandronum? Everytime i try to play MM8BDM in my new PC it crashes and says "to switch the render you need to restart zandronum". I've tried to open zandronum, go to video settings, change the render to OpenGL, exit and open zandronum again, but it still crashes!? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
