In a contest a while back I made Shark Man (long before I found out about the DOS game)

Concept Art

Not sure who the guy on the upper right was going to be but I guess I decided his arm cannon looked a crayon instead.

If I was going to come up with a Robot Master, I would think about it very deeply. Why would he exist, what would be be used for, what would make him unique from the other 7 Robot Masters... Not just OH HERE'S GLUE MAN HE GLUES STUFF CAUSE HE'S GLUE MAN! The game isn't even out and people write theme songs for these characters and those songs get remixed and ugh... some deluded fans even hate the real Nitro Man because of it.

Actually, I'm currently making a fan game with these RMs:

Meteor Man: A robot who trains space exploration units.
Dragon Man: Originally the mascot of Dr. Cossack's new theme park.
Stratos Man: A weather-manipulating robot.
Geyser Man: A robot who controls underground wells.
Neon Man: A robot who can see things in bullet time.
Hermit Man: A robot built to have an unstoppable charge.
Tectonic Man: A robot built to control and calm earthquakes.
Angel Woman: A robot with a breakthrough defense system.

And the secret bosses:

Number Man: Originally meant to be Dr. Cossack's lab assistant.
Danmaku Man: A robot meant to provide backup in war.
Smash Man: It's just my cameo, lol
Perfect Run Dragon Man: A beefed-up Dragon Man, who has very good dodging skills like RoahmMythril, "the perfect runner".

The only Robot Masters I have are:

Toaster Man: a Mascot robot that was modified to battle Mega Man.
Sink Man: A plumber robot. Attacks by squirting puddles on the ground. It's Oil Man all over again!
Templar Man: A robot created simply to destroy other robots in ye locale arena.
Paradox Man: Keeper of a Clock Tower.

Plus a jungle exploration robot "Monkey Man", but I don't really like him anymore.

How did I not guess that Blackman's weapon would allow rocket jumping?

The rocket launcher in Doom is really hard to use in duels... But I've mastered it...

Yea, I said duels. In deathmatch, it's mainly spam.

I was planning to make a well-thougt out list and explaination of my eight fanmade robot masters, then I thought about posting each one individually. If by cosmic reasons that no one replies when I do another, I'll just edit the last one.

[ARW - 003]

TRAP MAN* - Sabotage specialist

The ultimate Robot Master in terms of making the stage his weapon. His weapon is called Trap Wall, in which he opens and launches a steel trap. If the trap hits something, whatever it is will stick on it and will get smashed into a wall for serious damage. If no wall is there, it will keep going until off-screen. Trap Man is also known to be a trickster. With a single stomp at the right part of the floor, he can activate ceiling traps to crush his opponents. His secondary power are FOL Grenades, which he lunches eight of them. He then jumps towards a wall to wait for the explosion. The grenades will either burn up(all at once) or release a vertical laser(one at a time).

WEAKNESS: Due to his slender structure, he is weak against missles, or any kind of explosion

Good point: Plans ahead
Bad Point: Jokester
Likes: Organization
Dislikes: Not being on Schedule
"Just sit here, I promise nothing bad is gonna happen!"

He was the first one I created. Mainly simplistic in terms of making the sprites.

Fun fact: about three or four years ago, the maker of the Hard Hat, a megaman fangame series, decided to throw a little contest to see which robot master gets to be into the new installment of the series. Trap Man made it in. I still have the demo the creator gave me, and he was BEASTLY. Stage was not what I expected, and I did not like Storm Eagle's theme as my robot master's theme, but hey he got in a fanmade megaman game, and it's only just an example, so I'm not one to complain. I'm still waiting for the game to release... I don't think it will ever be released. :(  Shame really, cause abusing his power in his own stage was amusing.

In other news, I have yet to obtain what people call, a 'life'.

*NOT THAT KIND OF TRAP, YES I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE THINKING

I made up a "Garbage Man" when I was like 10, so don't say I'm stealing the name from that Dr. Wily video... Basically he looks similar to Heat Man, but instead of him being a zippo lighter he's a trash can with a lid slightly open so he can see out.

I had never thought of any powers but I'd guess they'd be sorta like Junk Man's powers. What I remember was his background was a bunch of crunched up metal balls and there was a crane in the foreground that would pick some up and drop it on Megaman.
