It seems to have uploaded correctly, is your firewall/antivirus eating it? The v5 launcher should be able to run it as you can point it to any .pk3 file in the configuration tab.
My antivirus eating it was the problem. I like having an antivirus on my machine, but sometimes they can be overzealous, and I really don't like it when that happens.

However, there's another question I have: Is it intentional that Terra, Sunstar, and

skins have MEGAPAIN rather than BOSSPAIN as their hurt sound, unlike the other boss skins?

Before we get too excited, I'm gonna tell you right up front that your archive for v6a is missing the MM8BDM launcher that every other version has. And copying the launcher for the previous version doesn't work, because it still looks for v5d.

That's weird, because if you beat him with the Super Adaptor, he still says the place could explode at any moment.

I love how you gave loop points to all of the stage themes that deserved them, but I think you overlooked Frost Man. That theme is of decent length (unlike Guts Man) so I'm pretty sure this is a mistake.

Isn't the castle supposed to explode when you access the MM7 ending map through defeating Bass? Because that strangely didn't happen for me.

I know that Top Man's background is based off this picture:

In this game, those early tiles look like this (image stolen from TCRF because I'm lazy):



However, I've noticed a few tiny errors on the dome tiles. The bottom half of the dome looks thinner than in the screenshot, and the shine is also slightly off.

Here's what I think it should look like:

Music packs are very very easy to make though, so it shouldn't be much trouble to put your own together.
Unless you want to have looped OGG files, which is a bit more work.

That first thing removes the errors, but it doesn't stop undefined textures from showing up.
Never mind, didn't realize that .zip you linked us had another .zip inside it.
