The Ghoul's Forest - What is it?

If you have no idea what the Ghoul's Forest is, your best places for information are here:

ZDoom wiki - The Ghoul's Forest Series.

And of course there's information right here at Cutstuff.net  ;) . Use the links on the left to navigate for the info you're after.

Still confused? Just ask.

If you signed in for this forum I think it is really unlikely for anyone not to know what Ghouls Forest is...
I hope anyway.

Well, there's also the odd chance that they don't know what the Ghouls series is. I mean there could be people who came here relating to ZPortal or one of the Cuttys other works. Though the general populace would probably be aware of what the Ghoul's Forest is.

They're too afraid to know about it. Once they hear or see any info it's over. "yeah, and there's like this... flying, screaming thing.... and it HOLY CRAP A GIANT SKULL!" or "I killed the Creeper! I killed the Creeper! [faint screaming, not-so-faint screaming, scream of death]."

I'm brand new, just discovered Skulltag and this site, and while I'm familiar with .pk3 files and wads and such, I have no idea where or how to install GvH and have been trying to find a post or an faq somewhere with some information on how to proceed.

Any assistance here would be appreciated, and perhaps this information should be readily available?

Buy Doom. Download Skulltag. Put Doom2.wad into your Skulltag dictionary. Download GVH. Run GVH with Skulltag.

How do I run GVH through Skulltag, and where do I put the GVH files?

I see, okay thanks. Although it seems to crash if I try to run it with OpenGL enabled. Is there a way to fix this?

Running Windows 7 x64, and I've tried running in compatibility mode as well.

Download the latest drivers for your graphics card. Ask Google if you don't know how.

It should be fine, me talking here, since, it's stickied right? Anyways, do you need Doom 2 for this? Because I only have Ultimate Doom, Final Doom, and...uh one other, it's a classic one, but I don't think it's Doom 2, and I just say some gameplay for this, and I'm interested.

Oh hey, I do have DoomII. GvH works with the Doom Collector's Edition version, right?
