Is there a version for GZDoom?
« on: September 18, 2020, 09:42:35 PM »
After playing megaman 8 bit deathmatch for a while and finding out that GZDoom is able to apply non-western characters (i.e. Arab, cyrillic, hiragana, katakana and Kanji), is it possible to make a GZDoom edition for Megaman 8 Bit Deathmatch?
If so, how?
If not, why?

If so, what does that mean for mods of megaman 8 bit deathmatch (goes off-topic, but could be relevant to this topic (otherwise another thread in the projects & creative or help & editing should be made)?

Update: since Zandronum also is open source, can a new version be made that allows users in multiplayer to use non-western characters (unicode)?

Correct. Plus as GZDoom has very little for multiplayer support, and MM8BDM is a multiplayer focused game.
