Well, that makes sense.

How do you forward this to a specific user?

Sending them a PM containing this link and words along the lines of "You should probably read this" should suffice.

Clearly the point never got across, considering you're still writing posts like these.

Not like that thread has a use, anyway.

I, myself, would love seeing this (or at least, the initial post) merged into the "introduce yourself here" thread in some fashion.

How else are you going to get anyone to read it?!

Actually, yes. Although it may be humorous to other elitist assholes out there, you come off as nothing but incredibly hostile to your intended audience. (Since you make no efforts at hiding your seething hatred of grammatically-challenged incompetents) At best you may enlighten someone, but as long as you immediately convince anyone that you hate them, you won't get them to listen to you at all.

(Bumped because a thread like this is a far more pertinent solution to forum grammar than the other suggestions popping up lately.)

to be honest i didn't even know this thread existed.

if you want people to read this, it shouldn't be buried in here.

This guide was originally posted in Anything Goes. Ivory then moved it here, because it was a more suitable location, and wouldn't be drowned by countless new topics.

Personally I'd rather have it stickied in Anything Goes, where it's more noticable. Not to mention this section is mostly about purely MM8BDM related tutorials.

Seriously now: Why some people do that? Just... Why? Do they think this is an IRC?

Updated. Now contains slightly less swearing (keyword being "slightly"), updated a few of the paragraphs, and added an additional paragraph about post clutter.
