Anyone know a good way of converting a sound to 8-bit?

There's a certain sound I want bitcrushed so that it sounds like it's forced into an 8-bit game. Google isn't giving its usual helpfulness.

So you want a sound effect recreated for 2A03? Do you want a voice clip that sounds muffled a-la NES voice samples, or an actual sound effect recreated with the other instrument channels?

I could never get far with recreating it, so that's out of the question. I want the sound effect to be the same just scratchy and hard on the ears, much like the result of taking a voice clip and putting it through the NES, despite this not being a voice clip.

(I'm not really aware of what 2A03 is tbh. My technical knowledge for the NES is a bit limited at times)

It seems there isnt a lot of characters playable, even for a full version (unlocked), right?
And the single player seem to be bad, some friends told me, you can't play single player with bots, only the story mod.....
I miss the good old times where you had complete game like Capcom vs Snk2 (it was my favorite) or Street Fighter Alpha 3 (this one, so good).
Again,it seems, they try to make a "pseudo" competitive only game for Esport, a bit like Activision do with his COD game, i knew it, Capcom try to do like activision, the same style.
See the game "Umbrella Corps FPS" cod like with zombies.... https://youtu.be/XHaDGCRMav8 , dem "unlikes" lool, also "Introducing Umbrella Corps, an online competitive shooter set in the Resident Evil universe."

It's sad, in the past, single player was the first priority for every game, even in the retro fps like Duke Nukem 3D and the others, you have a complete solo mod and then, a part for a multiplayer (BLOOD has DM, TDM and capture the flag, i was pretty surprised for the CTF in this one!) It's cool to have a multiplayer stuff but i still think, solo is the most important for this kind of game (SF5) better to make it that good.

Well maybe in a future DLC, but i suppose it wont happen because they want make it only for online...a lot of company do that now.... :/
No more love for bots, not like if everyone had a good internet speed but anyway.
