General Absence Thread

My interest in the game is declining again, so I shall take my leave for the time being. I will keep an eye out for V4 when it gets released, though. If I do end up coming online on the game, more than likely it will be for Mission Mode. Aside from that, not much is keeping me interested right now. This isn't me "leaving", per say, but it will be a long break from the game in general aside from Single Player stuff I may do. Maybe I'll get active again once Classes Saxton is completely dead...which I see as never.

i know that i have been offline and that is because all my games and laptop taken off me because i was sleeping in class at school and on the weekends (last weekend and this weekend) i'm not able to go online because i made my mum have a cold shower and i took my mum's ipod touch out of her car so you guys will see me online on the weekends (from next weekend) and on the holidays so see you guys then

... No, this was not because of Mafia. Why would it?
I feel like the majority of people here seem to forget that I am actually an adult woman and not a 12-year-old boy.

Why did I leave?
1: Because certain people here are being obnoxious and a general pain a lot of times. And because the others do not even care in the slightest at all whatsoever. Personal insults over nothing aren't the most enjoyable things either. Even less so when they they are directed at me and happen at too many times and too deliberately.


2: People complaining endlessly over nothing also bores me, be it some popular wad, games or whatever else there have been pointless arguments about.


3: And there are almost no good new members joining, either. The old members are still complaining endlessly and the new ones can't even write a sentence that makes sense, is at least somewhat constructive and does not make my brain hurt when attempting to read it.


You know, I left the more-or-less Cutstuff-wide skype chat a few months or so ago. Why? Because I got sick of the first two things mentioned above. And the forums are just as bad.

The game itself, while good, just isn't good enough to counter-balance all the bad things about most of the community.

I have had enough of all this. I thought about leaving for a while and this was the final piece of evidence I needed to have my assumption that the community is rotten to the core proven.

There are quite a few people I will possibly miss here. Not everyone was bad. But those that were ... those just took it too far.

Do not expect me to return. I have no reason whatsoever to do so.
