MM8BDM Discussion / Missing weapons?
« on: February 10, 2021, 04:28:03 AM »
So basically, I am nearly at the end of the game, and the weapon archive is almost complete, but I am missing 3 weapons. Where would those be?

MM8BDM Discussion / Save File?

Does anyone have a complete save file to share? My save got corrupted and I cannot access it. I would really appreciate it, since I already beat the game.

MM8BDM Discussion / Quint/Other Boss Nerfing.
« on: January 25, 2018, 01:22:35 AM »
So, I just beat Quint. And, while I get that it is supposed to be a challenging special boss fight, I thought that he needed a TON of nerfing.
One way you could fix this is by, each time he changes a time period, it auto-saves and re-fills your health. And, to compensate, maybe having no health pick ups during the whole fight. I don't know, but I just found it FAR too hard to be very fun.
Also, the last boss of Version 5 needs nerfing as well. (The Protoman part of the fight was also very hard, but I don't mind.)

So, in general, that is what I want to see. Any suggestions?

well there is one last area to visit other than Space:  The Lanfront Ruins thanks to the Archie adaptation of Super Adventure Rockman essentially fixing what is the nadir of the entire franchise (I'm not joking, Inafune himself hated the game after it was released).  I could see it as a sort of way to bridge MM10 to MMV, which would work with Ra-Moon contacting the Stardroids upon its demise

I agree! That is a great idea!
Sorry for the late reply.

Ah, thank you! I have now just beat the wily capsule, and it is not as bad as I thought it would be...

In conclusion, the bosses need a lot of nerfing.

Tutorial Collection / Secret Bosses?
« on: April 16, 2017, 01:59:22 AM »
So, I have beaten every boss in the game. I have completed the Campaign 100%. I have also beaten the secret bosses: Enker, Punk, Ballade, the Boss rush, and Fake Man at the end of the boss rush. However, in the special boss rematch area with Plug Man, there are still 2 more slots, and there is one more spot in the Trophy room. Can you help tell me what the others are and how I get them? Thanks!

Alright. But remove all that, I still suggest that the final boss still stands. Also, I want quint as a secret boss in a stage... which one? I don't know.

The password still doesn't work. I do wonder if they were removed.

I copy+pasted "ReimuHakurei" into the password box, yet it still didn't work. It doesn't really matter if I get it or not.

I have another future update idea! How about the dos games, and the bosses in "Challengers from the future" as levels "This update would come before the megaman V update.)

I also have an idea for some bosses. First, if this is in fact gonna be the final update, I suggest we have a robot master re-match with all robot masters (Including quint, the evil robot, the megaman killers, the genesis unit, king, and the ones that I mentioned up above), until you fight wily's machine, and then fight sunstar for the final stage.

Any more ideas?

I know what some may be thinking: "All the Gameboy games are remasterings of the of the originals, so we don't need to program the levels in..." And, while that is correct, the 5th game featured a 10 new bosses, a ton of new levels, and in my opinion, a lot of potential for a last game update. And, since it is on the Gameboy, the level themes wouldn't be on par with all the others, but you have gotten people to do remixes spicificaly for you. It would be so cool to have Sunstar be the boss to end all bosses in this game! To be honest, I don't think we need Mega man x based maps...

So, do any of you agree? :p

That doesn't seem to work...
