Are you able to remove the hard drive? If so, you could put it into a different machine and still make use of it like I did: (click to show/hide)[Drive E]It's just a simple matter of finding the right wires.Of course, this only works if the problem with your laptop wasn't the hard drive...what happened to mine was water was spilled on it and it took a couple weeks of sputtering for it to finally give up, but the hard drive was unaffected.Also, out of personal bias, I recommend getting a desktop because they not only tend to be cheaper, but also last longer and can be drastically more powerful.
Am I going crazy or the font used in the forum is different?
