Help with Spiderman PC???

Hi everyone I posted because I have a serious problem.I wanted to play the Spiderman 2001 game by Activision on PC.The game goes fine until I start the game.When I start it,the Activision logo appears,then the screen goes black for a second,then the game exits.I'm pretty sure that I have the more than the minimum system requirements,and even the installation was fine.I even tried a No CD crack,but It didn't work.This was my childhood game and it means much to me.If you can,please help me with any information!!

I'm not sure what to say except maybe google search this problem and find some forums that answer the specific question. If you're not running on Windows XP it might be a compatibility issue. Today I installed Generals just to play it again, and coz I have Windows 7, I had to google search to find some answers on how to fix it (I would have never guessed how to fix the problem, but I found someone who knew) so now it works again. Not much more I can say I'm afraid.
