Wait to play any champion you're interested in on a free week before you buy them.  Regardless of what people/tier lists say about the "best" champions, you yourself determine how good that champ is.  I would experiment with all champs until you find a couple that really fit with how you like to play and go on from there.

Everything will generally want to kill you anyway; the passive "global taunt" Teemo has doesn't really come into play until you start doing normals.

Yeah, just a fair warning, which can be either a good or bad thing, depending on the game.
If you play Teemo, people will immediately want to see you burn.
You can use this to your advantage, and bait :3

Now that it wouldn't be a double post... last night I had a really good game as Teemo. I got my first killing spree, and I'm starting to experiment with what Items to get to try and find the best combos. Also I spammed Shrooms everywhere like all real Teemos should.

Also I keep being unsure of whether to use classic Teemo or Astronaut Teemo. And I might try out Nautilus, seeing as he's apparently free this week.

If you happen to have any skins, just use them. Astronaut Teemo even has custom voice clips (In this case, the original voiceclips but slightly modified) and walking/running animations, so that's a great thing too.

All I want to say is that Braum will be released later during 4.7, Double Up got AP ratios, and Heal removes Grievous Wounds.

Honestly though...the Heal buffs from before [specifically the Movement speed increase] made it a tad too good in my opinion.
