Just how do I get Doomseeker to work?

Because I've essentially exhausted all of my knowledge.
I've redownloaded the game, shut down the firewall, redownloaded Doomseeker, all to no avail. I could really use some help on how to configure this, since I've been unable to play the game for months.
Info that may or may not be helpful:
I keep downloading Doomseeker in a .zip file, where everything is separate. I figured this might be a problem, but when I tried to download it as one file, my computer won't load it.
The error message I get whenever I attempt to load servers is: Error: Master server for Zandronum: Connection timeout (66.228.33.44;15300). Is this any indication that I might be banned?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I just have no idea what to do to fix this thing.

Your Zandronum Master Server is master.zandronum.com:15300 correct? If that's not working, I'd take it to the Zandronum forums. And if they can't figure it out, give IDE a whirl.

I actually did try IDE a while ago. That didn't work either.
I think it had the same problem as Doomseeker when it tried to connect to servers.

I know you said you were having problems with Skype, too. Is that still persistent as well? If so, that's a strong indicator it is something on your end, probably an obscure/hidden firewall setting. If you don't mind, what kind of modem/router do you have?

Yeah, my Skype still doesn't work either. I have a Comcast router, if that means anything.
I'll take a look at the firewall again and see if anything's amiss.
EDIT: Somehow I'm seeing servers again, but now I'm not connecting to them. Just keeps saying Connecting to over and over.
EDIT2: Guess it fixed itself? Hell I dunno.
Thanks OJ and KD for helping.

Another possibility. Do you have a "Internet Security" Antivirus package? Sometimes the built in software firewall in those are overly aggressive. If you are behind a router (IP address of 192.168.x.x), then you can disable it safely and try then.
