Protectors of Robot Kingdom [registration thread]
«

August 23, 2015, 09:07:21 PM »
The year is 20XX, in the middle of a robotic renaissance. Staggering advances in artificial intelligence and bionic augmentation have led to the development and widespread distribution of a new wave of cutting-edge androids. Known collectively as the Mechanized Masters, these chrome champions lead miniature armies of lesser drones in a variety of tasks, from agriculture to construction to national defense. The men responsible for this revolution? None other than the foremost leader of humanoid robotics, Dr. Thomas Light, and the forefather of the Variable Commands Grid, Dr. Albert Strider.
To keep both humans and robots distracted and entertained, a new sport has emerged alongside the new era. Broadcast around the world, hundreds of thousands of eager viewers tune in each week for another exciting installment of Arena Masters. Whether as a career or simply for sport, Mechanized Masters equip themselves with weapons and armor, then duke it out for their claim to fame.
With aggression kept to a minimum thanks to the Arena Masters program, it seems the world is at a peaceful standstill, humans and robots working in harmony towards a better future for all. Or so it would seem...
This is
Protectors of Robot Kingdom
, a post-by-post RPG featuring game mechanics from
Heroes and Morons
. It's basically a tech demo. Cool.
But what
is
it, anyway? Essentially, PoRK is set in a Mega-Man-esque alternate universe, with augmented humans alongside straight-up robots. The game flow is similar to Cutstuff Adventure 2, in that players alternate between exploration or role-playing scenes and turn-based battle scenes. There are a few...
differences
between CSA2 and PoRK as far as gameplay is concerned, but that's not really super important right now. Just know that the game is more focused around combining different attacks together, and editing your character's loadout to perform better in battle.
The main mechanic of the game is the spending and budgeting of Combat Energy, or CE. Every ability in the game, except for consumable items, costs CE. Fighters automatically regenerate CE between turns, keeping a steady flow of energy; however, spending all your CE in one turn will leave you mostly dried up for later turns. Deciding whether to hold back or to unleash your entire arsenal is one of the game's biggest points.
Fighters can be one of six elemental types (Fire, Aqua, Bolt, Wood, Tera, or Void), although not all fighters are aligned with an element. In addition, attacks may have one of four physical classifications (Slash, Break, Scope, or Throw) based on its properties. Certain fighters take extra weakness damage from certain types of attacks; while the party can take advantage of weak points, keep in mind that enemies may do so as well.
Finally, the party will contain three "active" fighters at any given moment, with an optional fourth fighter as "support". The support character can't be targeted directly by the enemy party, though they can still attack or use items (albeit at limited capability). Due to the focus on smaller, faster battles,
I'm anticipating a maximum player count of 8.
I feel that the lower head count will help with balancing the game, as well as ensuring that every character is distinct in playstyle and abilities.
Now for the fun part.
For this game, there is no list of predetermined characters or job classes or anything. Instead,
you will be submitting two characters
(a desired main, and a runner-up option) based on Robot Masters from the classic series. Keep in mind that they don't have to literally
be
those Robot Masters; actually, I'd prefer if you used a bit of imagination. Due to the nature of the game, you're free to interpret and re-imagine your choices in any way you so desire. Think of it kind of like Battle Network's NetNavi designs compared to their classic series counterparts... except that in PoRK they're still robots. And not really computer programs. ... You get the idea.
[Character Name]
(The name for your character! Don't just call him Wave Man or whatever.)
Based On:
(Who your character is based on. This is where you'd put "Wave Man" or whatever.)
Battle Style:
(This could either be the type of attacks your character uses, like daggers or wrestling, or it could be how they play in-game, such as heavy offense or inflicting status ailments.)
Appearance:
(Optional, though if you don't put one then I'll probably make one up for you. Y'know, role-playing and all that.)
Personality:
(Also optional. Just give me an idea of how the character thinks or acts.)
Just in case you
don't
get the idea, here are a few examples:
(click to show/hide)
Cold Solitaire
Based On: Cold Man
Battle Style: Stockpiles buffs, then dumps that stored power onto enemies.
Appearance: Cold Solitaire has a diminutive frame, with a large padded torso and a big billowy cap on the head. She has thick fur boots and mittens, and covers her mouth with a scarf.
Personality: A lowly production drone optimized for cold environments, Cold Solitaire was upgraded for harsher conditions and given command of her own arctic station. Due to limited interaction with humans or advanced robots, she has become somewhat detached from the rest of the world, seemingly in a trance within the cold abyss.
Pharaoh Nightmare
Based on: Pharaoh Man
Battle Style: Ancient pyramid magic confuses and cripples enemies, forcing them to bow down under his might.
Personality: THE WEAK SHALL TREMBLE BEFORE ME
Miabel Double
Based On: Duo
Battle Style: Anything with fists!
Appearance: Short black hair with blue highlights. A large metal gauntlet over one arm, the other wrapped in bandages. Wears a leather jacket.
Personality: Distant and reserved, but gets fierce when in battle. Often worried about "purging the evil energy in your heart".
Of course, there
are
a few rules, but don't let that get in the way of having a good time. They're mainly there to preserve my sanity.
Go nuts! ... Just not
too
nuts.
While it's fine to do something unconventional or flat-out strange, please don't ask for a character that has a move that changes his stats and also completely changes all of his other moves. Having moves change properties or elements or something is fine, I already have a design around that gimmick, but totally flipping the entire game on its head is a big no. If you're not sure, it's best to remain on the reasonable side of things.
Don't get super specific with moves.
I cannot stress this enough. Because I'm handling all of the movesets and everything, please don't come to me saying "Sword Paladin needs to have a Justice Slash attack that has a high burn chance". It's fine asking for Sword Paladin to have a move called Justice Slash, or to have a sword attack that's Fire element, but keep requests low and keep them simplistic.
You can't choose Mega Man, Bass, or Roll.
I'm pretty lax when it comes to characters. I'm fine with concepts inspired by Stardroids, or Rockman & Forte 2 RMs, or even those constellation weirdos from that one Mega Man strategy game. However, I do have a couple pre-existing characters on hand (mainly for story reasons), and because of that, I can't have two copies of what is essentially the same base character. Sorry guys.
Have some level of commitment.
This should go without saying, but (despite being a shameless tech demo) PoRK will hopefully last a little while. Don't sign up if you're not in for the long haul! Also, I'm hoping to update the game at least once a day, so for that reason
the autocommand time limit is 24 hours
. If you can't at least glance at the thread and make a quick post every now and then, don't sign up. Hopefully this won't be too much of an issue for anyone.
Don't get salty.
Signups are in the style of Cutstuff Adventure 2, where a bunch of dudes show up and then I hand-pick players for the final party. I'll be prioritizing players based on their concepts, availability, and party balance (won't do much good to have four physical tanks in an 8-man squad). There will also be slight priority given to players not currently enrolled in CSA2, though this doesn't mean you can't get in if you're in CSA2. Generally speaking though, if you don't get in, don't take it personally. I probably didn't mean it.
Most importantly, have fun!
Even if you don't get in, I might end up using your concept anyway as an NPC character somewhere in the game. The whole point of the game is to have fun, so come in with a good attitude and I'm sure it'll all work out in the end.
Cool? Cool. Let's get this PoRK on the grill already.

Gale Enforcer
Based On: Air Man
Battle Style: Super buff, uses air moves and stuff, more defensive if anything
Personality: I'm a real fan of yours, kid.
Appearance:
Backstory: Gale Enforcer was built for fighting. With a tough and hardy design, he's a very successful Arena Master fighter. He's very proud of his own abilities, and comes off as somewhat vain.
2:
(click to show/hide)
Doctor Alchem Hazard
Based on: Burst Man
Battle Style: Places explosive traps while inflicting status debuffs on enemies.
Personality: YOU'VE ACTIVATED MY TRAP CARD
Appearance: Alchem is fairly tall, with a long purple lab coat hiding complicated armor. There are tubes on the armor suit that connect to all sorts of chemical tubs and soap and shit iunno. He's also got a sand castle-shaped helmet, and big thick glasses.
Backstory: Dr. Hazard is a major researcher for a very large and very forward-thinking scientific lab, that features many new and experimental... experiments. He's very smart and calculating, but he has the tendency to get cocky whenever one of his brilliant plans work.

did somebody say stupid characters
Primary pick
(click to show/hide)
Needle Asylum
(A.K.A. Ashley Kutara)
Based On
: Needle Man
Battle Style
: General tankiness and oppressive fire
Appearance
: Keeps herself hidden underneath hulking blue armor. The only feature visible is her brown eyes through the visor on the helmet. Two cannons take the place of gloves on the armor. Holes in the boots of the armor allow for spikes to pop out at a moment's notice, giving her an extra powerful kick.
Personality
: Mostly casual, though she does frequently lapse into periods of hysteric, borderline maniacal laughter or, more commonly, a slew of puns.
Salty pick
(click to show/hide)
Dusty Tomahawk
(A.K.A. Jacob Terrace)
Based On
: Tomahawk Man
Battle Style
: Pickoffs using both high-yield single-targets and AoEs
Appearance
: Gruff face with mild stubble and a slightly bulky build. Wears a large headdress and constantly carries a large tomahawk. His limbs have all been replaced with brown-tinted cybernetic versions of themselves, granting him enhanced strength and mobility. Usually wears a brown vest with a white undershirt and brown slacks.
Personality
: Quick to anger, quick to calm. Believes anything can be solved with a duel to the death.
I still don't understand this naming scheme

Oh man let's go nuts.
Here's the primary pick.
(click to show/hide)
Admiral Anchor
Based On:
Dive Man
Battle Style:
Innate aptitude for naval warfare nets him relentless torpedo attacks and excellent control of the battlefield. Aqua element.
Appearance:
An old Naval officer souped up with cybernetics. His stoic face is partly replaced with metallic optics, ironically modeled after a porthole. His torso, that of a juggernaut, is largely cybernetic; though he is adorned in a Naval officer's uniform (aptly navy blue, I might add), his chest houses an endless salvos of torpedoes, mines, cluster bombs, and other explosives. His upper legs are slim, but his lower legs, fashioned after a Naval officer's boots, are cybernetically enhanced with special hydraulics that allow him to sink underneath, or float atop, the surface of the water on a whim. Finally, a Naval officer's hat sits atop his head, with his signature anchor motif prevalent. Perhaps most notable is his prominent cleft chin.
Personalty:
Lawful to a fault. Everything is pointedly done according to regulations, by the book, and with no room for error.
And in the event someone likes Dive Man more than I do, I've got this.
(click to show/hide)
Captain Scurvy
Based On:
Pirate Man
Battle Style:
As a mighty swashbuckler, he isn't afraid to get into the thick of things with a cutlass, and he's quite set on making a profit, even in the midst of battle. Aqua element.
Appearance:
A cybernetic pirate captain, afraid of no man, machine, or in-between. His battle-scarred face, complete with an eye patch, is often plastered with a malicious, conniving grin beneath his disheveled gray beard. Underneath his red buccaneer's coat, his torso contains the majority of his cybernetics, but his bread and butter is his mechanical left arm, complete with an extending hook, giving him unprecedented reach and mobility. His signature weapon, a trusty cutlass, is sheathed and holstered on his belt, and thanks to his solid physique, he's more than capable of using it. He conceals a small handgun within his coat for those situations where his cutlass doesn't quite, er... cut it. Oddly enough, his peg leg is purely for show.
Personality:
Conniving and bloodthirsty, he constantly seeks to make a profit through any means necessary. This has put him at odds with Admiral Anchor for many years, both at sea and as Arena Masters.

I don't even play megaman !o!
Primary Choice
(click to show/hide)
Frame Breaker
Based On: Dark Man
Battle Style: Rogue, focuses on single targets and uses the element of surprise.
Appearance: A generic metal mannequin with pointed feet, wearing a dull brown trenchcoat and toting a small but powerful arm cannon.
Personality: Sly, spiteful, and manipulative. Hates birds.
Alternate Choice
(click to show/hide)
Cavati
Based On: Quint
Battle Style: Brawler, quick and can kick rapidly.
Appearance: A slender human with bionic legs, wears a green shirt, brown shorts, a hard hat and is practically attached to his pogo stick.
Personality: Energetic, fun-loving, and aggressive. Hates not being on the move.

Preferred Pick
(click to show/hide)
[Ashen Burns]
Based On: Burner Man
Battle Style: This character is your hyper offense type of guy, you won't see him using status attacks or anything, he's just your run and gun type of guy, except no gun. Instead, he gets a flamethrower, fuck yeah! As you'd expect from a flamethrower, it would inflict burning. However, this isn't your standard flamethrower as it has several modifications that can be done to it, such as chemical fires, wider spray, napalm blasters, though it can't really balance those all at once requiring Ashen to take a turn or two relegated to modifying his flamethrower.
Appearance: This guy looks about as shady as you can get, he looks like the drug addict you'd find in an alley way with the trench coat (except he doesn't flash people because that's sorta fucked up). You can't see most of him due to his trenchcoat which packs the heat with (literally), though you can make out his dark brown hair and firey red eyes of a sociopath. He's got a deal going like Bass.exe with his coat covering most of his body, though unlike Bass, Ashen rarely removes his coat, though when he does, it reveals lightweight red armor with flame emitters. How does his coat not burn? Who knows, must be fireproof or something.
Personality: Ashen here isn't the most sane person after he's come back from Project BlackFire. He tends to go by the codename of WILDFIRE, even after leaving BlackFire, though being in the labs for most of your life can chage a robot. Why do I say this? He's a fucking psychopath, that's why. See a tree somewhere? Now you don't because Ashen just burned it down. And let's just say, Ashen doesn't quite give a fuck about Smokey the Bear. He's rather misguided from his past experiences and with nowhere to turn he's been relegated to being a freelance on the streets of a society on the brinks of destruction.
Ashen Burns - "What's wrong? I'm just
ARSON
around! Hahaha!"
"Salty" Pick
(click to show/hide)
[Carbon Blaster]
Based On: Grenade Man
Battle Style: Carbon Blaster relies largely on being low on health as a bezerker. He has a rage gimmick with lower health meaning more killing power. To compensate for this, he's extremely weak when at full health, though will not hestitate to kamikaze into a few enemies to get him to his rage limit. He obviously does this using grenades which as you would expect, have chemical properties to them, otherwise known as Tera properties.
Appearance: Carbon Blaster was a robot designed for war, as such he has camoflague on just about every piece of his bulky armour. He bears strong resemblence to Search Man despite being based off of Grenade Man, though he still has one head at least. (Nor does he look like a walking grenade).
Personality: He's one of the most cocky motherfuckers you'll meet, always first to charge off into battle and claiming the credit for work he sure as hell didn't do. He prefers to be called Blaster for some reason. He doesn't fear death either, you would hope not, considering he's willing to kamikaze into enemies with grenades.
Carbon Blaster - "Don't blink, you'll miss me blow up!"

Primary pick:

Search Sniper
Based On: Search Man
Battle Style: Locks on to enemies before dumping attacks into them. Scope attack types.
Appearance: A tall humanoid with two heads. Most of his body appears similar to a normal human being, though his shoulders are broader than average. Both heads wear helmets with slightly differing designs. The left head wears a dark visor over his eyes, while the right head's left eye appears to be a radar screen. Most of his body is covered in camouflage paint. His right arm turns into a rifle just below the elbow.
Personality: Constantly argues with himself. The right head has an itchy trigger finger, while the left head prefers to take things slowly.
Secondary pick:
(click to show/hide)
Masquerade Trickster
Based On: Charade Man
Battle Style: Copies attacks used by both sides throughout the battle. Can spawn clones of himself to escape a pinch.
Appearance: Looks like a normal person. Wears a golden masquerade mask, a tux, and a top hat with a question mark on it. Pieces of his outfit can slide back to reveal hologram projectors which he uses during his impersonations. Supposedly he looks quite handsome without his mask on, but nobody's quite sure...
Personality: Prefers to mimic the personalities of those around him, though if he has to be original, he gets flashy and acts as if everyone in the immediate area is an audience member.

hi mom i can play a forum game for once
wow
So this was my secondary pick, but then I liked it more than my other one. So now it's my first.
(click to show/hide)
Fluffy
The umm...interesting robot, "Fluffy" is here too I guess.
Based off:
Sheep Man
Battle Style:
Fluffy's battle style is entirely based off of conducting electricity and setting up traps. Traps, traps, traps! Set up an electric cloud trap here, some sort of stunning floor here!
I like traps! Mostly bolt element obvs.
Appearance:
So, everyone is pretty sure that Fluffy is a sheep, because it's incredibly hard to tell. If he is based off of a sheep, it's a sheep that was never shaved. It is almost a big ball of fluff, with legs and eyes. Everything else is just kinda...wool. No horns, no mouth, just that. Though for a big ball of fluff, he is also incredibly small and barely comes up to someone's knees, but as such usually just sits on people's heads to get around.
In fact, the only reason he exists was because he was originally a gift for his creator's young daughter...and was eventually modified without anyone changing what he looks like...or his name for that matter.
Sorta like this I guess?
Personality:
Besides absolutely resenting his name, Fluffy (who can surprisingly talk well) is kind of a nerd shut in. He's able to identify a variety of electronics and how they work just by quickly looking at them, and he has already had a fascination for robotics...even though he could just look in a mirror. That said, he is rather awkward and gets incredibly tense during any dangerous situation whatsoever, not a fun time.
The Sexy Pick even though he is secondary.
Sexcondary.
(click to show/hide)
Steel Fist
Renowned (?) Boxer! Doesn't back down from a fight, and will take down opponents with sheer force! Steel Fist joins the fight!
Maybe.
Based off:
Hard Man
Battle Style:
Steel Fist is a big boxer and is very used to the ring. As such, he knows how to hit like a truck. Some of his stronger attacks might require some wind up, but once the attack connects, there's gonna be a lot of pain on the enemy side. Due to structure and experience with a lot of fights, his defenses are rather high as well, letting him tank a lot of physical attacks.
The same can't be said for other attacks, where Steel Fist is a lot more vulnerable and can't tank nearly as well.
tl;dr: he punches a lot of things and it hurts, he can also take punches but not take missiles or fire or something. Is more about focusing on one target than groups.
Appearance:
Seriously though. Steel Fist has quite a presence, donning blue armor (as one would expect given the origin) around a rather big body frame. Though below the waist the appearance changes to a lighter blue than that of his main body. He almost always wears a champions belt around his waist. His actual fists for their power, don't seem that impressive...until any sort of match where they morph into a more boxer glove shape. Woo.
Personality:
For being a rather good boxer, Steel Fist doesn't really bring it up that much outside of the ring. He is more of the quiet type, and doesn't often respond to a situation unless provoked. Though he will almost never give up a fight and if challenged, nine times out of ten, he will quickly accept the battle. He lives for the fight, even if he doesn't show it nearly that much.

Woop one of these is considerably shorter than the other.
Last post on front page too.
(click to show/hide)
Grenton Gleam
Personality:
"Only the wise man knows... wandering will not lessen the illusion."
Based on:
Flash man
Appearance:
Not so much designed for combat as much as a showman. Greton's overall air just exhudes an ego bigger bigger than he can carry.
Generally speaking he's moderately tall, wears a dark suit with a tie and carries a cane with a large lightbulb on the top.
Near his left pocket is attached an overly large chain linked to a pocketwatch.
The suit only allows exposure of his hands, feet, and head. The backs of his hands veiled by a purple plate, almost as if he's wearing gauntlets. His hands themselves are white with divisions at the joints.
His head is the most apparently robotic part of his body. Over the top and back of his head is a globe of lights resembling a disco ball. A blank slate the color of his hands rests where his nose and mouth would be, adjusting to very general contours of his nose.
Battle Style:
He makes use of illusions and various ranged attacks that almost look like they're magic. Because he isn't particularly made for combat he would prefer to keep battles short and sweet.
EDIT: Valiant Bushido is bad.
(click to show/hide)
Dalton Friggs
Personality:
Cold-hearted, much like a crocodile, he doesn't allow anyone weaker than him to stand in his path.
"Mercy is for the weak. A true soldier will not hesitate to end lives when necessary."
Based on:
Ice man
Appearance:
A rather gruff-looking, middle-aged man who wears a navy blue parka with black pants. He never wears the hood of his jacket nor a scarf because he's too manly to let the cold bother him. His right arm is replaced by a mechanical shell. Sheathed to his back is a broadsword made of ice that never seems to melt, dubbed by someone not himself as the "Ice Slasher." His left eye was gouged out in some fight or something and it was replaced by a mechanical one.
Battle Style:
Dangerous and unrelenting, Friggs chains attacks as quickly as he can.
Unused pick:
(click to show/hide)
Valiant Bushido
Based on:
Yamato man
Appearance:
Very similar to his basis, Bushido's a broad-shouldered warrior glad in samurai armor of a reddish, almost rust-color with gold trim. Replacing his glaive is a two-handed mallet.
Battle Style:
Honor-bound to those he faces, he fights until either he or his opponent are no longer able to continue. Because of this, he specializes in melee combat with a slight focus on general defense.

Hey this looks interesting, let's give it a whirl.
Primary Option.
(click to show/hide)
Phantom Typhoon
Based On: Wind Chryssipus
Battle Style: Wind-based attacks using her fans to disorient and debuff foes, all the while taunting foes with quick movements.
Appearance:

Zip Skywrite
Based on
Gyro Man
Personality
"The crowd's out there waiting for a good show! Let's give this everything we've got!"
Appearance
Originally designed to be a stunt pilot... and it definitely shows in his appearance. He has a leather beanie/pilot's cap with aviator goggles, a long trenchcoat (that's split up the back to allow his flight gear to show through), and pilot boots.
Style
Speedster, showman, and a bit of a coward. Zip prefers hit and run tactics over a straight-up brawl, ducking in and out of fights with incredible speed. Uses the propeller on his flight gear to manipulate air currents.
Salty Runback
(click to show/hide)
Platinum Star
pfft i'm sorry I had to
Based on
Star Man
Personality
"The stars themselves have seen the atrocities you committed... I will not spare you..."
Appearance
Appears to be a humanoid in all-concealing armor, constantly polished to a shine.
Style
Platinum's fusion core allows him to superheat his body to extreme temperatures, turning his entire body into a lethal weapon. Of course, he risks softening or even potentially melting his own parts if this goes unchecked, but when you can scorch your foes to death before they can harm you.... well, does it really matter? Beyond this, his combat style is incredibly physical, with heavy blows and grappling being core components.
...Possibly even a flurry of blows, if you want to keep the joke going.

hi i'm the anti rp man
i've abandoned all i stand for
primary
(click to show/hide)
Name: Esuneiku
-sama
Based On: Snake Man
Battle Style: He's got real dangerous poisonous attacks, he's also pretty quick and sneaky
Appearance: He's an actual snake. (?)
Personality: He's pretty quiet, and doesn't speak much, everyone wonders if it's just an ordinary snake, but Esuneiku knows he's not, he's the head honcho of all snakes in the world, after all. Oh yeah he's also japanese.
secondary
(click to show/hide)
Name: Jorge (or is it Francisco?)
Based On : Gemini Man
Battle Style: This guy's pretty flashy, he fights in the most flashy way possible, you might even wonder whether he's fighting or just showing off his almost circus-like moves, he looks like a pretty awful fighter, honestly, but the fact he sems so awful makes his opponents not take him seriously, which most of the time ends in a lot of pain for them.
Appearance: He looks real smug, in a goofy way, he was made in spain, so his creature really took the whole cultural influence seriously when it came to creating him.
Personality: Everyone's 100% sure there's something wrong with this guy, he's always telling all sorts of funny stories about anything, and sometimes talks about his brother Francisco, crazy thing is, sometimes he claims to be Francisco and tells stories about Jorge, which makes most people think he's schizophrenic or insane, but some people might think that Jorge and Francisco are actually not the same person

Sure whatever
First Choice:
(click to show/hide)
Gravot Sturaika
Based On: Gravity Man
Battle Style: Terrain Manipulation, Stylized Melee Performance
Can target an area, individual, cluster, etc. and either center its gravity on Sturaika or the opposite way around. Has proficiency in flying kicks and slams (and other general suplex stuff) to make the latter useful, but is also crafty with materials for weaponry.
Appearance: Man, mid-20's. Black domed hair with spiked bangs to cover the center of his forehead. Glistening green eyes. Broad, top heavy frame covered over by a slick black suit adorned with red stripes and other ruby ornaments, in particular from the sleeves and belt. Said stripes and ornaments are programmed to briefly flash blue in response to activation of Gravot's powers. White boots worn allow for him to quickly adjust to surfaces he may latch onto.
Personality: Gentle giant. Heavily concerned with the protection of those he loves and the preservation of his own pride.
Second Choice:
(click to show/hide)
Dust Humidor
Based On: Dust Man
Battle Style: Skill Damage Sponge, Spread/Burst Damage
Able to absorb/erase the damage of opponent skills and convert them into additional power towards his abilities. His abilities involve figurative "junk" heaps that can be used for constructive or lobbing purposes. As they're easily fragile, they're prone to bursting prematurely and hitting numerous areas.
Appearance: Man, late-50's. Mopped up, somewhat ill-maintained grey hair. Boringly dim blue eyes. Slightly on the portly, stubby side as far as proportions go. Wears a black and white striped scarf over top of a blue overcoat. Slots along his arms course into his central nervous system, allowing him to extract power from incoming attacks by merely crossing them in a defensive position. Black slacks, blue boots.
Personalty: Greedy. Will actively step on others to get what he wants, and if that doesn't work he'll be satisfied with just making snarky comments until they're annoyed enough to submit to him.

Oh boy, being dead forumwise for a while and then living again sure is weird. Let's try doing the thing here to stay focused.
Primary:
(click to show/hide)
Eauvie Cealis
(Ee-oo-vay See-ah-liss)
Based On: Splash Woman
Battle Style: Rather than going more offensive, Eauvie prefers hanging out on the sidelines in a healer-type fashion. Not completely useless in the non-physical offensive department, but still not great at it.
Appearance: Eauvie was originally designed for deep sea exploration and it shows quite a bit. The front of her face has a translucent 'visor' of sorts, while her lower body is vaguely submarine-shaped, and there are indents along the bottom for legs to pop out of in case land maneuvering is needed. She's also quite small in comparison to the average robot's size.
Personality: "Not all solutions require violence, but sometimes there's just sooooooo much energy to throw about...!" Eauvie is energetic and slightly immature, but she does have a lot of heart whenever she can focus on something, and cares a lot for her friends.
Salt Powered Robot Option:
(click to show/hide)
Noirtrou Orutiorn
(Nou-ahr-tro Oh-ru-shi-orn)
Based On: Galaxy Man
Battle Style: Noirtrou prefers to fight at a distance using various energy(bolt element, perhaps?) beams and energy bullets. Think "Danmaku: The Robot".
Appearance: My mind's refusing to picture anything but something like "UFO waist with legs and a normal upper torso" in Galaxy Man's color scheme, so there you go.
Personality: "It looks like you are trying to accomplish some plot! Would you like some assistance?" I don't think I need to go any deeper than that personality-wise.
