i have to say, this modification represents more accurately how the robot masters fought in the original games  :mrgreen:
in fact, the only problem i have is this; MM7 masters. MM7 or more specifically, RM7FC was my favorite game in the series
it's too bad they're not playable in this mod, but hey! everything else makes up for it easily (dustman's hud; i lol'd)! better to have fewer classes of quality than more classes that aren't as, er... playable!  :mrgreen: on a side note, i LOVE how you handled the bot situation! YD's classes' bots kept running out of ammo and just became sitting ducks! this time, they're actually fun to play as! just one problem.
whenever i try to play an "offline skirmish", and the match ends, skulltag quits unexpectedly. not sure where to go from here or what the problem is, but fix that, and i'll play KY classes 'til MM8BDM fades into oblivion!  :mrgreen:

I'd think that if, oh, say, v3a were to arrive, MM8BDM would become busier and more-used. And, yes, I've had people that spam "hi" and llama you even though they tell you not to llama them. *Cough*Zerox*Cough*

I feel like Chapter 1 needs more... that what it's got now. So, I'd like to know what others think. Should Time Man and Oil Man, their weapons, and their maps be added in to Chapter 1 of MM8BDM?

While I don't think it could become v3, I think it COULD be a revision to the MM1 chapter. Not full-course revision, but simply adding in Time Man and Oil Man, plus their respective maps and weapons. It's bugging me, and possibly some others, that MM1 only had 6 Robot Masters. Obviously, Time Man and Oil Man would fix that.

idea and complaint (oh boy)

complaint: crashman is very overpowered, because if someone holds altfire down, it creates more epm (explosions per minute, hehe) and INCREDIBLE lag on any server  :cry:

idea: since you made a timeman and oilman class, why not roll? (melee ftw)  :D

let's see... i've been wanting to restore the wiki for some time... i've already done the doc robot and guts dozer pages... i'll finish up the bosses as best as i can... Kuu Kukuku...  :twisted:

Yeah, so I'm pretty new to mapping. I've learned several neat tricks, but there's one thing that always seems to elude me: SKYBOXES! So, I'll bet people have asked this a billion times, but... how do I make 'em? It's driving me CRAZY!  :? And if this isn't the right place for this question, where can I get it answered?

water balloon was my favorite weapon in mm8. great fire rate, good ammo, an actual water weapon, but now it's more like  :(

hmm... i'll bet someone thought of it already, but i think a fantastic idea for roll's class could be 2 weapons. the first being the roll swing from left to right (from powered-up pack), and the alt-fire could be a downwards swing that stuns the target, similar to spark shock. the second being a vaccum that pulls enemies closer, and the alt-fire could be a much weaker vaccum that pushes enemies away. anyone think that'd work?  :mrgreen:

(a skilled roll could stun with alt-fire swing, then send flying with main-fire swing)
