since my college requires me to lug around a macbook, i thought i may as well find a set of good emulators to play games on it, haha
And I ended up finding this one multi-system emulator, which not only emulates almost every console i would ever want to emulate (just missing arcade, gamecube, and wii), but it also has a very lovely interface!

i love how it has all the box arts!
.... and by "all", i mean it has Action 52, but it's missing Super Mario World, Super Bomberman, Donkey Kong Country, and other ones like that
at least it lets me manually load custom boxarts for roms that are missing them

I kinda want to find a port of this interface for windows so i can use it with my set of emulators that I have

(also, yep, I totally have roms of all releases of each mega man game on hand at all times)

Oh wow, that looks much prettier than Retroarch (at least how I have it configured).

Strange how your college requires you to use Macbooks. My high school did that for freshman to sophomore years and then switched to iPads until senior year.

From what it seems like, the college got a deal with Apple
Apple probably gives them money or something

Pretty much all my teachers actually really do not like Apple computers at all, haha



Also, with finding boxarts for the games on that emulator, I learned that
There are virtually no images of the Japanese boxarts for Punch Out!! and Super Mario Collection (AKA Super Mario All-Stars) anywhere on the internet
And, well, nobody's ever thought it'd be worth it to do scans of NES bootleg boxes, haha
Though, oddly, one of the NES bootlegs in my ROM collection actually automatically had its boxart applied (though it was from the wrong version of said game)

My school handed out iPads to students (and my senior year they wouldn't let people download things from the app store so they were practically made useless which is why less people got them that year)

Also for the time being I'm not going to collage this year, community collage is out of reach due to my family's financial difficulties r.i.p.

yep, when I made my way from my first class, I saw a giant Yoshi in the distance, and went towards it to discover that someone set up shop inside the college with used games and plushies and stuff

So I dug up $23 dollars in spare "not for amiibo" money to get that

I remember donating about 5 dollars to the site back in 2013 just so I could grab the medal. I'm kinda tempted to donate more, but then I remember Tengu's massive donation and think "I think Mike is still safe for another year or two".

I was just remembering; I had a mod somewhere that attempted to recreate Mega Man's Smash Bros. moveset in MM8BDM. With the rise of MM8BDM mods again, I was considering reviving that one day.

That place is lookin' pretty bare. I remember when it had about 2 or even 3 pages of active games, haha
